Our Founders
For twenty years, Sony Award-Winner, Russ Kane, was the voice of Capital Radio’s ‘Flying Eye’, forming an on-air partnership with Chris Tarrant to create the most listened-to commercial radio show in the world, with a daily audience in excess of 4 million,
Today, Russ can be heard on BBC Radio London, where his weekly, hour-long news reviews have earned a further loyal following, and on TalkRadio.
In January 2019, Russ joined forces with Howard Jameson on Women’s Radio Station and to create Men’s Radio Station. These revolutionary global internet radio stations aim to provide a non-judgmental space in which men and women can ‘Really Talk’. Russ’s goal remains to remove the stigma that surrounds mental health and to improve how it is addressed in society.
Howard is the Founder and Chairman of the internationally-acclaimed, award-winning Jermyn Street Theatre, which recently celebrated its 25 year anniversary. The theatre is a true jewel in London’s theatrical scene and is highly respected, winning constant praise and glowing reviews from the industry.
A highly successful entrepreneur, Howard wanted to find an innovative way to offer a non-judgemental platform for both men and women to help support and educate the complex and growing issue of mental heath and well-being. With the help of his Co-Founder and long-time friend, Russ Kane, Women’s Radio Station (WRS) was born. One year later Men’s Radio Station was launched – both provide the means to empower, connect, entertain and educate, offering a positive outlook for men and women. Howard is passionate about his mission and works tirelessly to promote his vision of improving the treatment of mental health in the UK.
