I was born and bred in Watford, a town labelled by Lonely Planet as “the kind of place that makes you want to travel.” They weren’t wrong: I lived and worked in the the Middle East, Caribbean, Asia and South America before returning to Blighty where I work as a travel and lifestyle journalist.

When I’m not working, I am out and about exploring London with Talk of the Town – a dynamic walking tour guide company I co-founded, that aims to provide the inside track on the London scene for locals and visitors alike.

I’m also interested in , and the arts (I serve on One ’s Style Council),  socialising and sports: I am a season ticket holder at Watford Football club where I volunteer as a Vicarage Roadie – a team of Watford supporters who work to enhance the match-day experience for home and away fans. Hospital Radio (where I visit patients before co-presenting a request show on Wednesday) and (I’m an active member of my local Liberal Democrats group) are other interests.

However my biggest passion is international travel: free time and disposable cash is spent abroad.
