Vonda was first propelled to our screens as a member of the girl band MADASUN in 1999. They were successfully signed to record label V2 for 5 years during which time they had 3 top 20 hits in the UK coupled with even greater success overseas especially in Italy and Australia. Besides the usual circuits of ‘Smash Hits’ Top of the Pops’ and SMTV at the time, Madasun toured the summer Festibarr Colisseum shows and fronted Italian Vogues Iceberg jeans Campaign, shot in Hollywood by top photographer David La Chappelle alongside Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson. After the band, Vonda presented 2 shows on Sky, ‘The Guest List’ and ‘Vonda and the Doc’ which was a type of embarrassing bodies show and her interest in health and wellbeing was born. Motherhood persuaded Vonda to take a few years off to bring up her 2 young children and in the meantime successfully open an upmarket children’s fashion and gift store together with qualifying as a nutritionist, something she is passionate about. Vonda also started developing her own property portfolio. Her love of restoring and developing was created as a child watching and learning from her father who has been developing property now for over 50 years. Vonda is currently a regular fashion expert on QVC for Skechers and other fashion brands as well as a keen blogger on fashion and motherhood on her blog www.motheroftweens.com. In her free time Vonda can be seen at the gym working out including Spinning and Pilates. As an ex-dancer this has always been an integral part of her life.
