Feng Shui Foon – For Big Smurf

Hello and welcome to the Feng Shui Fung show with me, Ting Fun Chik, Feng Shui master and Chinese astrologer on women's radio station. On today's program, we're going to be talking about feng Shui hacks for entrepreneurs. If you have your own business or you're planning on starting your own business, you can get your startup off to a flying start if you create a space that supports you in getting what you want. If you're already in business, listen to these tips and check your office and your home to make sure you're doing the best you can for you to help you and your business reach amazing level of success. When it comes to running your own business, it is a lot of hard work. There's no denying that every business owner and every entrepreneur really puts the hours in to get their business off the ground. These tips will also help you feel more supported by the universe in getting what you want. So the first hack is think about where you sit when you're working. It's great to sit so that you can see who's coming into your office. Face the door. Okay? Sometimes you can't face the door, but be able to see the door. Symbolically. If you have your back to the door, what do you think that means? Could there be things going on behind your back? Could there even be some backstabbing? You absolutely do not want that to happen. So make sure you sit so that you face the door and you can see who comes into your office. And when you sit like that, you also have you feel in command. We often call this the command position. Now, so you're sitting in your office with the door in front of you or perhaps even to the side. So the first tip is go check your office, whether it's a co working space, whether it's your home office or whether you're in your own office. Make sure you sit so you can see who's coming in and absolutely do not have your back to the door. Now, once you arrange your desk so that you're sitting facing the door, you also need to make sure you have some open space in front of you. So arrange your desk so that there's plenty of air and light in front of you. Well, why would you want to do that? When you're running a business, you want to encourage yourself to look ahead, to have a big vision for your future. And having that open space in front of you helps you think bigger, to look towards greater horizons. So sit with lots of open space in front of you. Be able to see beyond what you're doing today. Everyday tasks are important for running your own business. But to be able to have a clear vision of where you're going. Set up your desk to give you that expansive feeling by having the space in front of you when you're sitting in an office, whether it's at home, in a co working space, in your own office, modern furniture, you usually have a swivel chair. Now, swivel chairs are great. It means if you have an L shaped desk, you can move around. But when it comes to sitting down and you really want to concentrate, try not to swivel in your swivel chair. Try and sit still. If you're a bit of a restless nature and a lot of entrepreneurs have this restlessness, that's what gives you the drive, that's what makes you want to go bigger, better, further. Then you're likely to be the sort of person who want to swivel in your swivel chair. If you can't help it, swap it for a chair that doesn't swivel. It will help you concentrate, it will give you the focus, it will make you feel more grounded and connected to the here and now and more mindful of doing what you're doing right now. Most entrepreneurs are full of ideas. You have this sort of mind that thinking at 90 miles an hour and that's what makes you want to run your own business. However, there are times when you just need to think of one thing and do one thing. So the feng shui tip to help you to do that is to be really present to the present moment and sit still. So that's hack number three. Hack number four. If you're an entrepreneur, have you tried to do it on your own? Maybe there's something about your personality that thinks you're a bit of a lone ranger and that you can go out and conquer the world on your own. Actually, you need support, you need mentors, you need peers, you need to have a team. You probably already know that. And let's have your space giving you the support as well. How do you set up your space, your surroundings, to give you support? Sit with a lovely solid wall behind you. Now, in some modern offices, you're going to have a window behind you. But if behind that window there's another building, then you get the support from the mountain, that's the other building behind you. Having that support really makes a difference. If you don't have a big building behind you and you're sitting with your back to the window because remember you want to see who's coming into your office. Get yourself a high backed chair that gives you the support behind you. You'll feel so much more comfortable if you sit with support behind you, strong physical support. So then that gives you the sense of mental and emotional support for what you're doing now. As well as work, we also have to have play and rest. So let's talk about rest. So for rest, that's when you're at home and getting enough sleep is really important for how you function at work. Sure, you've read lots of articles which say you need to get your sleep in order to be peak performance, to be at your peak performance. So here's a feng shui hack for your sleep time. Make sure your bed is placed against a solid wall and you have a strong headboard. When we're sleeping, we want to feel safe and protected. Have your room be cozy and comfortable. Do not take your work to your bedroom. What if you have your office in your bedroom? Screen it off. Give yourself that feeling of relaxation, cosiness. Sleep with a solid wall behind you, nice strong headboard. And when you're in the bedroom, make sure that there are no mirrors reflecting you whilst you're lying in bed. So hack number five is sleep in a safe and protected environment with a solid wall. And hack number six is make sure that there are no mirrors reflecting you whilst you're asleep. If there is a mirror reflecting you whilst you're lying in bed, you can cover the mirror at nighttime. Now, I say mirror, but quite often you might want to watch TV whilst you're lying in bed. Sometimes it's great to have a little bit of TV before sleep time because it helps you relax. And if that helps you relax, check whether or not your TV screen is highly reflective because that could be like a mirror. Cover it up and see if you sleep a whole lot better. You can still have mirrors in your bedroom. If a mirror is inside the wardrobe door and you can close the door, then the mirror isn't reflecting you. If the mirror is on the same wall as your headboard, then it's in the room, but it's not reflecting you whilst lying in bed. So hop into bed and look around and see where your mirrors are. Do you need to cover them? Okay. Finally, hack number seven, also in the bedroom, make sure you don't have any overhanging cupboards above your bed. Can give you a bit of a sense of pressure. It's better to sleep with a nice flat ceiling and to get lots and lots of rest. So I hope those hacks will help you in your work and at home to rest so you can be an absolute winner in your business. In Chinese astrology, the moment of your first breath sets up a pattern for your character and destiny. Is there such a thing as an astrology chart for an entrepreneur? Let's explore that a little. In this digital age, just about anyone can be an entrepreneur online. Who is going to succeed? Quite often people say success leaves clues, and if you find a successful person and you copy what they do, then you can succeed just like them. But is that really the case? Are some people born with advantages according to their astrology chart? Let's think about who we know who's a really famous entrepreneur. Richard Branson. A lot of people love Richard Branson, and I love what he does. I love his energy, and I also love his Chinese astrology chart. When I look at Richard Branson's four pillars chart, by four pillars, we mean your full natal Chinese astrology chart. Quite often when we talk about Chinese astrology, we talk about the year animal sign. And the year animal sign is only a small part of the picture of your astrology. Now, the four pillars, you have a year animal, a month animal, a day animal, and an hour animal. In Richard Branson's chart, he was born in the year of the tiger. Well, symbolically, the tiger already tells you a lot about somebody who's dynamic. And his month is a goat. His day is also a tiger, and he was born in the hour of the rabbit. When we look at the four pillars chart, we're not just looking at the animals, we're looking at the element of the day. And in Richard Branson's chart, he's a wood person. Wood people are very good leaders. They're very good at planning and thinking ahead. And if you think about wood, its growth, the feature in Richard Branson's chart which makes him have the advantage from the moment he was born is he has wealth in his month. So in Chinese astrology, the month you're born in can tell you a lot about your chart. Richard Branson was born in a month of wealth energy. So when he has that in his chart chart, it means that he has an inborn advantage for making money as an entrepreneur, you can check whether or not you have wealth in your chart. Download the Chinese Destiny stars, astrology, tap in your birth details and check out if you have wealth in your chart. Who else do we know is a famous entrepreneur? Let's go to the ladies. Michelle Mone. Michelle was born in the Year of the Pig, a Rooster month, a Tiger Day and a Horse hour. Michelle is actually a fire person. Fire people can be very charismatic and attract a lot of attention. And again, what do we see in Michelle's chart? We see she has wealth in her month. So people who have wealth in their month really have an advantage when it comes to being a born entrepreneur. Well, if you have a wealth month, you can be a strong wealth creator. Are there other features? Who else do we know who's very good at making money? Let's take a look at David and Victoria Beckham. Now, in David's chart, David was born in the Year of the Rabbit. He was born in Dragon Month, Monkey Day and Rabbit Hour. And David is actually an Earth person and he doesn't have wealth in his month, but what he does have is he has. He's an Earth person born in an Earth month. So when we see this feature where you have the same element in the month as the type of chart you are Earth person born in an Earth month, then that is what we call a vibrant chart. And people who are vibrant chart are also charts with great potential for being an entrepreneur. Interestingly enough, when I look at Victoria Beckham's chart, Victoria is Year of the Tiger, she's also Month of the Dragon and like David, she's an Earth person. But in. So both David and Victoria have this feature of an Earth person being born in an Earth month. And these charts have. These charts have a great deal of potential for being able to be successful in business and to generate wealth. So do go and check your own chart. Now, are there people walking around on planet Earth who have wealth in their month or who have the same element in the month as their day master, as their self element? Of course there are, there are lots and lots of these charts. Are people born with these charts always entrepreneurs? Probably not. Well, in the UK, roughly 1 in 10 people run their own business are entrepreneurs. So when it comes to these charts, there's going to be a lot of people with entrepreneur charts who are not entrepreneurs. So are entrepreneurs born or made? There could also be some very, very successful entrepreneurs who don't have these entrepreneur features. Yes, you can be a successful entrepreneur without having these special features. In your chart. And it could be according to the timing that these features, the wealth or your self element comes along in what we call your timing. And it could be some people are entrepreneurs for a certain amount of time in their life, not throughout their whole life. So are entrepreneurs born or made? Well, even though you might have these innate features in your chart, to be a successful entrepreneur takes a lot more than just having the features in your chart. You need to learn the skills. You also need to be prepared to do the work. Anybody who's a successful entrepreneur will tell you they had to work hard. Is it true that you create your own luck? I would say to a certain extent it is. When we talk about Feng Shui in Chinese astrology, we talk about heaven, earth and human. The astrology is the heaven part the moment you were born. The earth part is the Feng shui, the environment that you find yourself in.
