Dr Pam Spurr is a well-known relationships, self-help expert, and media psychologist, as well as an award-winning radio presenter and TV guest/pundit. Pam is the author of 15 self-help books on topics including relationships, happiness, dating, emotional eating, sex and dream interpretation. Many of her books have been best sellers. Pam Has had columns in most of the national newspapers, many magazines and websites.
Pam has also reignited her passion for painting and had her first exhibition March 2nd 2020. All of her expressive art is inspired by people, mainly women, that she’s coached over the years. Pam has been struck by the spark of hope each person carries with them no matter the challenges they face. This hope is always expressed even in her paintings. She has also just started an exciting gift-art business.
Dr Pam regularly appears as a contributor on a variety of TV programmes including being a regular phone-in expert for This Morning, and a guest on shows like GMB, Loose Women, LK Today, Daybreak, GMB, BBC Breakfast, SKY News and more. As well as for 14 years, being a resident expert on the Big Brother spin-off shows.
Pam presented shows on Heart FM London for five years and LBC 97.3 for four and a half years. She’s also regularly on radio as a freelance contributor and presenter including numerous regional stations. Most recently Pam recorded a weekly show and podcast for Love Sport Radio called Wham Bam It’s Dr Pam, and presented a Saturday night show on Talk Radio for 2 years in 2016 to 2018.
Dr Pam has a doctorate in psychology from a London teaching hospital having researched parenting methods for parents of children with behavioural and emotional problems and is a chartered research, academic and teaching psychologist. She’s also undertaken various counselling-related courses including PTSD training, Parent Advisor training, and Body Language training.
