Hello and welcome. This is the Eat Love Do Show, live and exclusive on Women's Radio Station. I'm Janine Newbery, and I will be your hostess with the mostest and bestest guests. I've got a couple of amazing women on, um, this week. I've got two for one, two ladies. So you're going to absolutely love this week's show. Um, before we get started, do remember to head over to our socials, um, hit that like and subscribe on our YouTube channel, um, and it really does help us. So we love it when you support the show. And on our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, we are at Women's Radio STN. Right, enough of all that guff, let's get cracked on. So this week I have Clare Morton and Jules Kelly. They are a dynamic duo, um, who've created the Life Freedom Method, um, which you are going to absolutely love. I've had a personal experience of their method and went on their retreat a few weeks ago, and it was amazing., and I had to get them on the show. So without further ado, welcome Jules and Claire. Welcome to the show. Hello. Thank you for having us. You're a little bit like Ant Dec, it's Claire and Jules. You're Claire and Jules. Yeah. Hi, Janine. So lovely to see you, hear you. Welcome. Yeah, welcome. Love to have you on. Do you want to just tell our listeners a little bit about what you are, what you do, and what the Life Freedom Method is as well? Bluh, bluh, can't get my words out, what the Life Freedom Method is as well. You think I'd had a vodka or something, wouldn't you? Do you want to go first, Claire? No, go on, you go first, Jules. Okay, so Claire and I came together this year, and we both decided that our word for this year, because we all have a word, well, we have a word for each year, Ours this year was collaboration, and we didn't know that of each other until we sat down and chatted about it. Because whilst we've worked really well independently for a long time, we've decided that we didn't want to do that anymore. We wanted to work with somebody else because working alone can be quite a lonely place. And so we, we got together. Claire has a trademark and a process called the SPACE Method. And I have the Life Freedom Method. So together we came together to form Space and Freedom, and that was literally by fluke that that just came together. When I say fluke, it's quite serendipitous. Diputious. So the Life Freedom Method is my method that I put together, which is basically the process that took me from being classified as disabled back in 2017 to me living my best healthy life and healing myself from living with fibromyalgia for 14 years. So I decided that if I could do it and I could come off all that opiate pain medication, and, and I know there is an alternative way to the system in inverted commas, that other people needed to know about it. So I created the Life Freedom Method, and it's something that I use, we use with our clients, and it's something that we've taken to— we're in the process of working in clinical trial with fibromyalgia sufferers in the UK at the moment. So that's all exciting. That's incredible. You've had good results with that already, haven't you? Amazing, amazing results so far. We're only a month in and, um, yeah, we've taken pain down by about 75%. Yeah, that's, that's brilliant. That's incredible. Yeah, I'm so excited and, and it's just so blooming gorgeous to see the people that I'm working with, that we're working with, go from being so, so poorly, so, so unwell, so living an existence, really an existence of pain and exhaustion, to actually engaging in life again, which is, which is such a profound change. And it's such an honor to be part of that journey. And it's, and to see, to be able to prove it to be able to prove that this works under, literally under the microscope, is such a dream because it means that we've got an opportunity to take it out to the market to help millions and millions of people to get well. Um, and to learn to understand their body. Yeah. And, um, and where Claire comes in is obviously she brings in the neuroscience part. Um, Claire, do you want to talk about that bit of it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Claire brings in the calm. It's funny, I always laugh at that because, you know, you just don't see yourself as calm. And loads of people that I speak to always say that I've got a calm energy and a calm voice, and I'm like, really? Husband doesn't think that. But yeah, so it's absolute pleasure and joy working with Jules, and we do have a lot of fun and a lot of laughter, but the work that we do is very serious and it's very deep. But laughter and fun is a huge part of it because, you know, laughter is the best medicine. And we're getting down to some of the serious stuff around the science behind the healing. And holistic wellness is beginning to really come back to the forefront. And it— the world cannot carry on the way it is masking problems with modern medicine. Now, I'm not dissing modern medicine. There's a need for it in the world. But if we can educate people on the science and how to look after themselves, and, you know, just simple, simple things. It's not hard. It really isn't hard. But, you know, that drinking water, having a meditation practice, being out in nature, coming away from electronics, and spending time with people who are in a high vibration. And a lot of people in the world might be on a low vibration right now because all that's plastered over the news is bad news. So it's, it's, we just want to be able to create with the, the method that we've got is it's education, it's holistic, but it's also going to be proven in clinical trials, and there's going to be evidence to, to show people and their bloods and all of that shizzle to be able to go, wow, look, here's an alternative way. Let's, let's be more responsible for our health because we are the only ones that are responsible for our health, nobody else. I make myself sick. Me sick. Nobody else makes me sick. Our bodies are supposed to naturally heal, but what we do to them and what we put them through doesn't serve us. And, and by the way, I'm 47 years of age and I have done all of the things, all of the things to put this body in, in a really bad state. And thank God I've got a healthy body that gets me well again. Now, since I've been doing this work and since I was introduced to you into yoga 10 years ago when my life was in a hit rock bottom personally, Even though I've been doing this work like NLP, leadership training, wellness training, it was very much surface level stuff. I was teaching it, I was talking about it and I was preaching it, but I actually wasn't living it. So, and 10 years ago I discovered yoga and meditation and going, you know, deeper and really practicing in my own space. That, that's when my change came and lifestyle changes and things that I would do in, you know, leaving the corporate job, not hanging around with the people that were bringing me down, or not, you know, I'm not putting anybody down for that because I send them compassion because there are low-level, low-level energy souls in the world and that's their journey. But I don't want to be hanging around with those people because I'm so open, I feel that energy. So it's all about protecting your own energy, it's about protecting your soul, it's about protecting your body. And a lot of us, me and Jules talking about this the other day because we're going to be doing a talk in Liverpool in Wellness in the City in January, and Jules made a reference to we are heads on legs. And when she said it, I literally could just see my massive head on a pair of my little legs walking around because we live so much in our heads and in our thoughts and the movies that we play in our heads. So it's around— and I say this all the time— we have to come out of our heads and into our heart and come out of our heads and into the body because this body just gets ignored. I mean, we've got 3 hearts. We've got the head, the brain, we've got the heart and we've got the gut. And it's about really getting into this now. And that's the work that we're doing as well. So it's all really good stuff. Have I gone off on a tangent there? No, no, it's great. It's lovely. You loved it, Clare. You were in flow, my love. Your sacral was shining like a blooming shiny thing from Shinesville. I mean, the three of us, we are all so passionate about this work, aren't we? Because Janine was with us a couple of weeks ago at our retreat in Nottinghamshire, and it was absolutely beautiful. The people that were on that retreat were meant to be on that retreat, the ladies, and there was a lot of deep stuff gone on there. And the changes that come with that work and the realization that you have got so much to give and you are, you've got so much love inside you that sharing yourself and sharing your gifts with the world. So it's massive. It's— we're just so passionate about it. And it's just getting everybody out there to understand that they can do— they can heal themselves, they can do what they want. They've all got choices. We've all got choices, every single one of us, what we choose to do. So just giving people that hope and that insight. And when you give people knowledge about it, they know, then they'll start believing it. And when they see the results from clinical trials and you see people getting well that instills the belief in other people to go, oh my God, that works. Just like the belief that we've got now, that the blanket belief is if you go to the doctors for a tablet if you feel ill, because that's what we've been brought up on. And that's fine because that's what traditionally what we've been brought up on in the, in the last, you know, decades and 10 decades. And my mom, God love her, she's really healthy. She's 72. But every time she doesn't feel well or there's an ailment, she pops a pill. And it's always popping a pill and I'm like, that's the belief that she's got. But there's other ways of doing it. There's other ways. You don't need to pop pills. So what would you do? Sorry, that doesn't make us conspiracy theorists either. Yeah. Because I think that's what people think. I mean, my dad's 76 this year and he's lived with Crohn's disease since he was 21. And again, very much like Claire's mum, he's used to going to the doctors, getting a tablet and sorting it out. So when I then started bringing him alternative therapies and lotions and potions and what bloody stuff, what crap are you bringing me in now? And now he says, oh, can I have some more of that crap, please? That works a treat. And yeah, it's just about reeducation and no one is too old to start now. You just reminded me of a flashback. I went back to my dad maybe about 20 years ago. I went up north and I'd just learned Reiki and I had him lay down and covered him in crystals. Oh, bless. Bless him. He was like, what the bloody hell's this? What are you having me do? And then afterwards he was like, I don't know what you did, but that was bloody marvelous. That was, I feel really relaxed. That just reminds me of my dad. I was trying to explain belief coding to Dad and he said, so, so what you're telling me then, what you're telling me is brainwashing. I said, yeah, you know what, Dad? Yes, that's exactly what it is. It's brainwashing. I just thought, you know what, I'm never going to explain it to him. So I just, I just said, yeah, that's it. That's what we're doing. Yeah. We're starting a cult. Yeah. A brainwashing cult. It's funny with family and friends as well because they don't see you in that professional capacity, do they? Like people who you work with. So my mum always goes, oh, I love what you do. I love that like meditation thing that you do. So nice. And I'm a Reiki healer as well. And she's had it off me and she really gets that, to be honest. She does. You know, she is open to other stuff, um, but that she just sees me as little Claire. And then, and then when she comes to like events with us, or she's come to one of my retreats, and she's like, oh, I can see what you do now. Oh, that's very proud. Thanks, thanks, Mom. Been doing it for 20 years. I'm sure there's a lot of people listening that can relate to that. Yeah, and they want to help like the family member or the kids or the parents, and, and No one will listen. Yeah, they don't. And that's one of the hardest things, I think, or one of the earliest lessons that you have, is that actually the people that are closest to you just don't get it. They don't get it at all. They don't want to get it. They like— they have an image of who you are, don't they? And yeah, yeah, it's true. And I think now though, over time, more, more friends are coming, um, like they're coming on like meditation courses, or they're coming because they're saying, oh, I can see, because they're speaking to other people. So again, it's like the clinical trials, the people and the evidence is there over time, and that's when the belief comes in to be able to go, right, okay, well, that person's doing really well, they feel better, this must work. So it's really working on that belief and just educating people, giving them the knowledge, giving them that belief so that they can then go, right, this is real, this isn't woo, it's actually real, it's scientific. So you talk about— So the woo is real. What you're talking about now, so you talk about people healing and getting results, but, um, so people listening, they might not know quite what it is you're talking about exactly and, and what, how this might help them and what ailments or issues you can help heal. So do you want to go into a little bit like that? Like what are the benefits? What, who is it for? What could, what can be done? What can be shifted? What can be healed? Everything. Everything. You know that. So, so For me, so one of my clinical trialists said this morning, she said, do you think you can get rid of my stammer? So do you want to get rid of it? She said, yeah. So I said, well, yeah, we can then. So it's a case of I believe that you can do anything you want to do and make it happen. And fibromyalgia, I've been sat in the doctors for years and years and years, and it was almost like at one point the doctor just turned the computer on and said, what do you want? You've had everything. It's almost like they just, they've got like a pick and mix of what what you can have drugs-wise. And it was only to probably 12, 12 years in that I was offered anything but meds, which was 6 sessions of talking therapy. So what do, what do Clare and I do? It's massive. We've got such a huge list. And the reason that we collaborated is so that we can literally help anyone. We can help anyone that comes. So depend, you've got things that are holding you back. If you procrastinate a lot, if you're self-sabotaging a lot, if you're telling yourself you're rubbish, if you are if you are sick, if you are, if you've got a chronic illness, we will challenge every part of that. If you, my belief is if you want to get well, you can. That's my honest belief. And, and there will be people go, oh, you're off your rocker. Um, there's lots of people sick. 90% of our sickness in this country or in the developed world is to do with lifestyle. The chemicals that we use in and around our body that are creating a hormonal chaos, that are creating our bodies to misfire and function, and they're doing the best they can with what we put them through. Um, and also our stress levels are off the scale ridiculous. Our cortisol levels are off the scale. That stress causes disease, uh, it causes an imbalance in energy, it causes dis-ease in our bodies, and there's so much of it. And we can put a lot of it right. Um, what, what, what can we do about it? We can learn about the society in which we live. The fact that it's so consumeristic, that there's so little, there's so little governance around what can be sold to us, what we can use, because there's so much dangerous stuff in our everyday products, our personal care products, our cleaning products, our environment, our per— every— all these things have just been allowed in and they are the things that are causing the unbalance in our body, the imbalance in our body. And what if we had some more control over that? Or at least if not you necessarily control, but people start voting with their feet and actually going, no, actually that, that I don't need to smell like a mango to be clean because I don't want to use carcinogenics on my skin. Thank you very much. Just those little things, switching those out, drinking filtered water every day instead of drinking pop with a load of, um, with loads of additives and preservatives and E numbers and aspartame, all of that, all of those things can, can help. So the physical aspects we can help, but also the mental side of things. Yeah. Our beliefs are there to keep us safe, but they're also there to keep us small. Yeah, 100%. 100% agree on that. So you guys, um, you've got like an annual, um, group support thing that you put together, which you call Back to the Mothership, um, which sounds fantastic. Is it— it's a membership that people join for a year? And I think you give monthly trainings and teachings to help facilitate them growing throughout the year. So do you want to share a little bit on that and what that is? Mm-hmm. Do you want me to talk about that, Jules? Yes, please. Hinge and bracket. Yeah. Um, thank you, beans. Beans on toast, we are. Um, yeah, so Back to the Mothership is a membership, um, that we we do a lot of our teachings in, um, to more people because we realize it's an investment if you want to do 2-to-1 coaching or work with us. And because we do, do work with corporates as well. And so we want, we want to help as many people as we can. So for a monthly fee or an annual fee, you can come into a supportive community where we will teach you and we'll facilitate a safe space and a lovely, beautiful community. And everybody's welcome. It's not one, one sex. It's all genders. And anyone that feels or questioning where they are in life and they feel stuck. And it's about, you know, if you're feeling stuck, if you feel like you, you're questioning your life, then okay, let us explore that because that's just your soul telling you that you want to grow. And it's questioning everything that you are doing right now if it's not, if it doesn't feel right. So it's like, let's explore and grow together over 12 months with knowledge and skills from myself and and we're going to have guest speakers in there hosting whatever topics the community are asking for to really educate them on what they want to do and what they need so that they can move forward in life. So, and we want to, we, we use a lot of different techniques within that. And because we've been in the world of training and development for, for many years, we've got a lot of, you know, business knowledge as well, as well as personal development knowledge. So we can we can, we can serve people in a roundabout way in all aspects of wellness. So wellness comes on, you know, under wellness comes your mental health, your physical health, emotional health, your spiritual health, financial health, the environment that you live in, um, your relationships. So it's helping people on all of those aspects of their life and pinpointing where it is that they want to be helped and where they're limiting themselves and trying to hold themselves safe. So it will unstick them, they will become unstuck and they can, they can choose the life that they want to, what they came here for. So yeah, it's, it's really exciting and we're just so excited, aren't we, with what's coming up and people are really listening now and want to get involved and they want to help. And it is for me again, it's collaboration. It's about the more of us that there is, the more energy that's created, the more positive energy, the more education that gets out there. Because for me it's, it's, it's a conscious thing. It's a conscious connection thing across the planet. It's huge. I think the other thing to add to that, last night, so we're on the current mission, we're on the 2022 mission at the moment within Back to the Mothership. So this is our second rip around the universe, um, 2023. Um, but like last night's session was almost like a bit of a pre-wrap-up session for the year. And we were talking about, we had people that were employed in there. At the beginning of the year who are now self-employed and wanting support on logo design, business name, that sort of thing. And again, that supportive community. And I think the other thing, you don't necessarily need to be stuck. You might just want something different to what you've got now, but you're not quite sure what that is. And actually what the Mothership does is allow you to investigate that and explore that without actually having to know what the final destination looks like, because the chances are the final destination may change along that journey because you're going to be led. You will show you how to follow your Human Design and how to follow your own purpose to find, to find that final destination. I think this is really, I think, really powerful having that actual support network because we've got friends and family and peers in our life, but those people don't necessarily always understand us and our journey and not not always able to give us the support we need because they don't understand our vision and what we want for our life, or they might get scared that we might leave them if we want to make some changes. So I think it's really important to have that level of community where there's no judgment and you're allowed to be who you are and be free and try out new ideas that you might not necessarily want to share with your family and friends because you just want to feel them out. So that's really powerful. And then you just touched then, Jules, on Human Design, which is an incredible tool to work out because if, if someone's a bit unsure what the purpose is or what they want to be doing in their I think this is incredible. So do you want to just open up and share a bit on what this is? Because I think, I think people are really interested in that. Yeah, so Human Design is a, it's kind of a, this isn't the technical term, but I'm going to use the Julesisms, it's a mashup. It's a mashup of things like the I Ching and the hexagrams and the astrology and the quantum physics and all of that stuff. But it's basically, um, It's about, it's about the science of the aura. It's the science of the aura and it's about energy flow. And it works on the basis of where you were born, when you were born, and what time, place, and where. No, that's the same thing. What your name is, where you were born, what time you were born, and what date you were born. That's it. Okay. And it works out based on where the— this sounds completely barking mad, by the way, but just go with it— where the planetary elements were at the time and place of your birth. Earth, but it was also to do whether— where the neutrinos were. The neutrinos are the subatomic particles that we've got, like 300 trillion of them going through our bodies right now without even knowing it— where they were at the point where your soul was incarnated into your body, which was about 3 months before you actually were born. Barking mad. But it basically had— it, it gives us an idea of personality types, traits, and, and your purpose, what you're here to, what you're here to do, your soul journey. And the reason that it, the reason that it's so powerful, the reason that it hit me being so powerful when I learned mine about 18 months or so ago, I was actually living my design that, that was incarnated into my body in January 1970. I was born in April 1970. And for me, for me to be actually living that design in 2022 just blew my mind. So when we have people come to us, like with you, Jenny, when you came to our retreat and I sat down with your design and went, oh my God, you've got such a powerful, powerful design. But conditioning happens through our, through our growing up, through our, through our life experience, through our trauma, through all that stuff. And you might think, I might say to you, you're an amazing leader. And you go, well, that's not me at all. You go, well, no, no, you are an amazing leader. But things have happened in your life that have made you feel that maybe you're not. And so that what we can do then is we can work on what that is, why that you think that, and change it. And that's how powerful it is. And literally we are, we are changing lives with it. So that coupled with the Belief Code, in which you're also a facilitator of, Janine, um, is just hugely transformational and taking it from the woo, which is completely backed by science and the science, the science, which Claire talked about before, unfortunately, people look for the science because they don't believe everybody. They don't believe what everyone says because we, we don't, we just, we question stuff and that's right to a point, we question stuff, but it takes for somebody with a title for somebody to listen. Yeah, but I'm not a doctor, but you— but I know my stuff. Yeah, my husband this morning has started telling me stuff about belief systems, Janine. He's reading a really good book apparently. Oh really? By Dr. Such-and-such. I just walked away laughing. I went, oh, have a lovely time with that. I just think, yeah, I've written a book too. Like that's But the science is all already there. You just have to go digging for it. Yeah. Do you know what? When you did my Human Design, for me, it was a bit like having an astrology report done. But whereas an astrology report just sort of just work out like what time and stuff you were born and has all the planets in alignment and works out a bit of a life plan for you. But the difference where the Human Design is, it came, it came in where it was so laser focused on you as a person and who you are and what your life plan and your destiny is. And your personality and what makes you shine and what will hold you back and what would light up your life. And it was just really, really interesting and absolutely, absolutely fantastic and made perfect sense. Yeah. And, and it just made you sort of understand how you work. And for me, I was like, oh, like, yeah, that makes perfect sense. Like, that's why I'll do stuff in this way and I'll enjoy it and I'll be really good working in that way. But if I'm doing stuff in this other way, that's not working for and it made perfect sense. And I was like, to see it in black and white in front of you, it just helps you get that kind of clarity and understanding of yourself on a deeper level. So I thought it was absolutely fantastic. I think the other thing that it gives us is, yeah, like Claire, it's like the society expects us to play all the roles, wear all the hats, whereas Human Design gives us a specific role. And if we all stuck to our roles and what we were brilliant at and what we're here to do and how we're here to respond and how we're here to interact with the world, world, there would be no burnout, there would be no frustration, there would be no dissatisfaction because actually we would be working in alignment with the way that we are designed to work. And I think when you can see where you are out of alignment with your Human Design, then it's easy to get laser focused, isn't it, on how to get, put that right. Yeah. Yeah. And I think that, that was really helpful. And I think the other thing, Clare's worked with Myers-Briggs profiling for about a million years, haven't you, Clare? Yeah. I've been teaching and a Myers-Briggs practitioner for, God, I think it's about 15 years. And I absolutely love it. And people love it because it is like a horoscope for yourself. But the depth of Human Design, and there is no questionnaire. You put your details into the system and there's your design. So with Myers-Briggs, I love it. It's based on Carl Jung's work.. It's based on archetypes. It absolutely, actually complements Human Design. Um, but for me, it's like, for years I've been— that I'm very self-aware, and I'm— because I'm in the world of personal development and training, I am aware of myself and my, my strengths and weaknesses, and Myers-Briggs has really helped me shape that. But I've still been searching for stuff, and, you know, don't know what it is. And then when I was given my Human Design reading and I've been working with that ever since, I think it's been about 2 years, my world has just got even better. I couldn't even tell you the last time I was sick. I couldn't even tell you because I'm not burning out because I'm a generator. And a profile of a generator is someone who is like a Joris Elboni. They don't stop and I have got a lot of energy, a lot. And even though, you know, yoga really helped me to go come within and find myself and find myself, I'm all inside myself. It's like it's just an even deeper framework and it helped me find my purpose., and my purpose is to help people find theirs and find their joy. And anything I do now, I just use my profile and I use my sacral as my, my authority. And it's— I don't do things that I don't want to do. I do things that light me up and give me more energy. Um, and I like to move a lot as well. So I used to think there was something wrong with me because people would say, oh my God, will you sit down? On. You, you, you're always doing things. And so I used to think, oh, there's something wrong with me, I don't know how to relax. But that's just the way I am, and that's okay. Or I also used to take on a lot of other people's stuff as well, and I don't do that anymore. I just do what lights me up, because then when I'm lit up, I can then save others. So it's about self-care and starting with me first. And then when I do that, I don't feel resentment, and I I don't feel frustration because I'm living in my design. So it's, it's so— it's, it's just— should do it in schools. Yeah, sure. Well, you do listen to your body now. So like yesterday, we had a day on— we were driving yesterday, we've had quite a busy couple of weeks, but you did have a lie down. Yes. So we did give ourselves permission just to stop, and we launched back to the mothership on Sunday. Now, the should people would say we should be online and we should be doing this and should be that. Well, we left should behind when we embraced our Human Design. If we're not shiny and sparkly and we don't want to do it, then we don't, because it's not going to serve us to come online when we feel moldy and tired. We want to be showing up when we want to show up, when we're here to give energy and empower people to show up. So yeah, doing that and it also gives other people permission to do the same. And that's really powerful. Just so, no, actually you don't have to do that. Who said? Who said you had to do it that way? Who made the rules? Throw them out the window. I think we often put pressure on ourselves, don't we, with too many rules and ways we should do stuff and how, you know, expectations of others really. And when you clear that out of the way, that's powerful. So if somebody wants to do their Human Design, out what theirs is, how would they do that with you guys? Would they join Back to the Mothership, or could they do that like in a one-on-one? Like, what's the best way to do that with you? Well, they can do it through Back to the Mothership, because in Back to the Mothership this year, we are going to concentrate quite a lot on Human Design. We will show you, um, how to read your own chart, the fundamentals of it, but not just reading it, because reading it and knowing your Human Design is one thing. Embodying it and living bit is the life-changing bit. Yeah, so that's the cheapest way to do it, is to come and join us in the Mothership. It's £37 a month or £444 for the year. That's the cheapest way you'll ever get to work with us. Um, but you are going to get a lot of stuff in that. So you'll get the Life Audit and Radical Self-Care Programme, which is 15 modules, self-led modules with videos and workbooks. You'll get Clare's, um, meditation programme for busy professionals and high performers in there as well. You'll get monthly coaching, you'll get the community And the community, um, somebody asked me, was it you that asked me, Janine, what's involved? And I said, well, it's almost like having that, having this, that community of people that are with you on that journey. So you can literally go in and say, look guys, this is what I'm going through. I'm having a shit time. Can someone help? Or I'm having a great time. Let's celebrate. And just to add while I'm on that bit, the, um, one of the things about the clinical trial and creating change. What I feel that one of the main, main factors of people actually making those changes is having other people that are invested in their success. It's really, really important because, like you say, sometimes your family doesn't know what you're going through. Your family doesn't know what you're planning because they might think you're off your rock, complete and utter rocker, going off and doing whatever you're doing. Yeah, taking risks that they don't necessarily agree with or understand, but having that support. And I've just had a message from one of my clinical trialers, and they've just put, "I've never had anybody— I've never had anyone be there for me without wanting anything back, and I just wanted to say thank you so very much for taking a chance with me." So that says it all. So the Mothership is like that. Yeah. So it's having, having that support. Um, so they can learn that way. If they want to work with us 2 to 1, it is a bigger investment, but we can do that. And if you've got a company that you want to, uh, have wellness for your staff team, or you want training, or you want leadership, or you want Human Design, then Clare and I can come in and share that magic with you. Because you do corporate, we were chatting a little bit before we started recording, came on, about the impacts going into corporates of wellness. So do you want to just share some of those stats and demographics that you were sharing before? Because that's incredible. Just staff wellness is, it's become, it's always been there, obviously. One of the things that I ask with the public purse, with with government bodies, you can ask for a lot of information through Freedom of Information Act stuff. And one of my questions to a corporate is how much do you invest in wellness and what is your cost of sickness for the company? So you have actual absenteeism, which is where people are actually off sick and not able to work. And the impact on that is usually between 7% and 10% of the, of the payroll, cost of payroll. Then if you've got long-term sickness and people don't come back, then you've got retraining and re-recruitment fees, which is about another 6, 7, 8% on top of that. And then you've got the same amount again on top of that of people that are rocking up to work to get the paycheck, but they're not actually engaged with work because they're not— they're just showing up. So they're body, but they're not actually taking any action, are they? And that's again, it's the same. It's the same cost. It's almost the same 7-8% again. So when, when I've asked that question in the past before, what's your cost, what you spend on wellness and what you spend, what's your cost of sickness? It's— I've had things about we don't hold that information, which is absolutely barking mad. But like the NHS have got published stats, the Office of National Statistics have got stats. I think the absenteeism for the NHS in 2021 is around about 7%. But engaging in staff morale and improving engagement has a massive impact on the cost of delivering the service. And the savings are huge, like millions and millions of pounds huge. In fact, they're billions of pounds. So private companies increased stock value by 10% by having wellness programs. And it could be something as simple as just having somewhere for people to go. To break away from their day-to-day. It could be just someone to say, you're doing really well today. It could be just, it could be a membership where they can go and meditate. They can have that. They know that the company is engaged in understanding that their wellness matters. So those are the sort of things that, that we're looking at, that we're working with. I think this is really powerful as well, because I'm sure people listening either work within a company or a corporate business, or they're perhaps entrepreneurs and running their own businesses or starting up their own business. I've got a lot of female entrepreneurs listen to the show, um, and if you've got staff and working with— this is, this is like really important for you to keep that productivity and in your business and make sure that the people are happy that working for you and taking care of themselves as well. So I think this is, I think this is absolutely incredible what you're doing. It's not only helping individuals, but you're going into the workplace. And it's so powerful to know that impact on wellness and keeping like everyone happy and taking care of themselves within the business as well as individually. It's just a massive thing. It's just a really smart thing to do if you're a business owner. I think the important thing as well, that not just the people that have got people working for them, the entrepreneurs, the single entrepreneurs, we are that, we have been that person. Yeah, we have all been that person, and nothing comes before your baby because you're driving, you're driving, you're driving that because that is what's going to make you the lifestyle that you want. But you are also the single point of failure because if you go crashing down like a sack of spuds, your business stops. Yeah. So you have to make time for you. You are actually— not your business, you you as that human suit, that flesh suit, you are the most important thing. And so you need to make sure that you create that balance. And so I would argue for an entrepreneur that their, their wellness takes priority over their business because one can't work without the other. 100%. 100% on that. Excuse me. Yeah, you get ill. I had an accident when I was living in Bali about 6 years ago now. And left me unable to walk, and I had to go through a full recovery and learn how to walk and everything. And my business, everything just stopped. As soon as my health was taken out, everything stopped. Nothing else mattered. And obviously that was an accident, which was sort of different, but it's— that's no different really to you taking care of your health and having burnout and just like getting really ill all the time because you're not taking care of yourself, you don't know how to, and you've got all this stress building up and adrenaline and you haven't got that support network who's genuinely there for you, which can help, um, you know, take some of that burden off and help you through that. And, and you haven't got the skills to clear out the, maybe the beliefs that are, um, you know, making you, making you go into that illness. Because, you know, you clear out the beliefs and suddenly your health and everything just gets so much better. And I've just done that myself. I've just done all the belief coding and cleared out some stuff around grief and stuff like that. And I've been ill since. I'm full of energy and I haven't been ill since. And I was ill for a few years and it's all stress and grief in the body. And it— and, and I just couldn't work out why I was ill. I went to the doctors, everything, and they tested me for everything. And I just did some sessions, cleared it all out. I feel bloody amazing, quite frankly. So, and the energy just flows through the body because you're living in that peaceful presence and in the present moment, which again, my big thing is I love meditation, I love yoga, I love breathwork. But when you give your body that time to rest and digest and let go of stuff, then the energy flows better and the body is feeling better and the head's more clear. Not that you can clear your thoughts, because that's one thing, one myth that's going around that someone, um, has once said You can clear your— if you could— meditation's clearing your mind and it's like people get put off by that and it's like, no, it's not. It's about, it's about one flow of perception. It's about focusing on something and you will have thoughts and you just focus. It's training the mind to focus on one thing because then what that does is put you into rest and digest and then it allows you to be able to have more energy and focus to go into business or into life with whatever you want to do. But going back to what we've just been saying about business owners as a, as a as a female business owner, I ploughed so much into my business around training and masterminds and PR and someone to do me branding. But then there's like, who's looking after me? Well, I know about wellness, so I can do a lot of that. But really, there's so many businesses who invest in that side of the business, and they, they have a set of standard operating procedures for the business, but they don't have that for themselves. And it's like, well, if you don't invest in your own health, wellness, and growth, how do you expect the business to grow? Because, and we go after the when I'm a millionaire or when I've got this and when I've got that, then you get sick and then you constantly chase them that because you're not looking after yourself right now. Get yourself and look, look, live in your design and the, the magnetism will bring to you what, what your soul is calling for. And I know, again, it sounds pretty deep, um, and I'm a 3/5 profile, so it can be pretty deep on that. But no one will— if they don't know human design, they won't understand. What the hell is a 3/5 profile? Yeah, um, but it is, it's like, I— it's pretty deep. But, and I want to be able to tell people and show people, come on, you don't need to, to do all of the things, and you don't need to try and control everything, and you don't have to do everything, you can just let go and be in flow. Stop the hustle. Yeah, yeah. I think that's the thing that women do. I think more than men, really, because we take a lot on, especially if we're trying to run a business or have a career and then take care of the home and take care of the family and take care of our bodies. And there's so much pressure on us, I think more than men, really, because we've got it in all these different areas so that we do end up getting burnt out and just doing too much and feeling like we're a failure in society if we don't do all these things, like we have to be Superwoman. Because we're meant to, we're meant to do all these things. And, you know, and it's just— and human design teaches us we don't. And so society expects us to be, to work as if we've no children and to parent as if we've no work. And I think it's a challenge. Yeah, I love that definition. That's brilliant. Yeah. But men aren't, men aren't, that's not on men though, is it? It's really interesting. Not by, what's the word, not by societal standards. Um, no, but Human Design teaches us that whatever design we are, we work to that design, and we all have a role within the bigger picture. And if we all did that, then we— it would just all be easy. It'd be quite interesting to create a big Human Design experiment, have like a big global experiment, get everyone to learn and work within it. I just think Human Design is an experiment. I think the whole thing— I think life is an experiment. And I guess if you know the rules of the experiment, then, which is kind of just trusting. And again, come stop being a walking head. Head on legs. I don't like that. Was it Talking Heads or something? Yeah, Talking Heads. No, we literally live in our heads. Then, yeah, we're all very, very different beings, but, and there's a plan for each and every one of us. And it sounds absolutely barmy, but honest to God, if you've got an interest in it, then please join us. Please join us in it. We'd love you. We'd love to have you along. We start on the 10th of January for our— we launch on the 10th of January for a year. So we work till the end of December 2023 and we are going on the journey and we've got some amazing people in the membership that have already joined. It's not meant to be huge. This is about if you want support, if you want to be supported, if you want to give support, if you want to learn, if you want to grow, if you want to develop, if you want something different, different to what you've got now, then we are here for you. And I love, I love the name Fiori. So you got back to the mothership, and I've got to say, the training is out of this world. Oh, see what you did there, Claire? Did you see what you did? There you go, there's a tagline for you. You're welcome. Out of this world. We're not world class, we're universal class. Yeah. Oh God, we also like to laugh. Because there's some of the stuff that we do— we talk about this, don't we, Claire? Just think, because we're funny around a lot, we do, but we, we are good at what we do, don't get me wrong. But we think, do you think we should laugh so much? And we just said, yeah, we should, because it's, it's what gets you through, isn't it? It is. I think I love laughing. I laugh a lot. And I found that sometimes people don't always— they always think I'm serious or take me serious because I laugh around a lot. But then when they get to get to the crux of it, they're like, oh, actually you are serious. All right, good. But it's like people sort of separate that laugh, having fun and laughter and being serious, like it's two different things. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can have it together. You can work on serious stuff and create what you want, but still have fun doing it. And isn't that much more fun and enjoyable? Like, I would much take the laughing and having fun whilst creating what I want to do than like sort of be serious and really intense and bring more stress in. You know what I mean? It's like, life's meant to be fun. We've got stresses and stuff to deal with in life. So we might as well have as much fun as possible whilst doing it. So I am loving like that. I love that you guys have got that playful. We're here. Yeah, that's brilliant. So we've got, what time? We've got a little bit, we've got a bit left. We've got about 10, 12 minutes. So, um, is there anything that you want to share like about what you're doing in it? We've touched a bit on the Human Design. You, you do also, Jules, do you want to share a bit on your aromatherapy stuff that you do? Well, I, aromatherapy comes in with the Life Freedom Method and it came in because that was part of my journey. So when I, when I had fibromyalgia, I used to take so many drugs, like proper opiate pain medication and sleeping tablets and stuff like that. And, and I got to the point where I was put on beta blockers. That was my last, that was the last, almost like the last of a big shopping list of tablets. And I remember sitting in my mum's garden in, in 2017. And I went for a cup of tea. And in the morning I had really, really bad anxiety and I could feel my heart beating out my chest. And when I'd gone to the doctors again, because I had a season ticket at the doctors, I was literally there all the time, um, he'd given me beta blockers and I literally felt my body shutting down. I thought I was checking out. I thought, holy, I'm off. And I was very calm about it. I just thought, no, I'm going. And I could feel myself shutting down. And my mum rang my husband and he, he came to get me and I slept for 2 days. And then when I woke up, I realized I wasn't dead. I, I just thought, no, that I can't live like this anymore. So I thought, I've got to, I've got to find some alternatives. And then I went looking for natural alternatives. And my friends had already bought me a little set of oils, a little 10 essential oils, which I loved. So I found the lady that had bought them and said, look, can you put me in touch with whoever it was that you got these from? And then, and then I went to learn about them and it basically plant medicine and I switched out all of my tablets, all of my opiates for natural alternatives. I nourished my cells with really good quality supplements that were all natural because I learned that my cells needed to be— that my body's made up of trillions of cells that need nourishing, and I'm the only one responsible for doing that. So, and it started there. And then again, because of my design, I'm a 5/1 profile in Human Design. Which will mean nothing to some people if you don't know, but the 1, the 1 energy is all about understanding. I get my security from understanding what I'm talking about. I need to know the ins, outs, hows, whys, whens, wheres of, of whatever I'm doing so that I've got the confidence to be able to share it. So I said that I trained to be an aromatherapist. So instead of using paracetamol or ibuprofen for headache, I use peppermint oil. Or frankincense, or frankincense, lavender, and peppermint oil. And, and again, it's just relearning. So instead of reaching for a tablet like Claire's mum or like my dad, I just have a blend of oil made up— lemon, lavender, peppermint, lavender, and frankincense— and I roll that on my temples, I roll it on the back of my neck and on my hairline, and within about 2 or 3 minutes, my headache has started to, to ease. And it's just about re-education.. So I use oils. I swapped out Zopiclone, which was a sleeping tablet, which is a really addictive sleeping tablet, and I swapped that out for Vetiver, Cedarwood, and Lavender. 2 drops of each, 6 drops of oil every night instead of an addictive pain medication. And it, it took 3 days and then I didn't need it anymore. So again, it's just about reintroducing, reprogramming the body, reprogramming reconditioning certain reactions. So it's a bit like we know that a red light is stop, we know that a green light is go, we know that the smell of cut grass we associate with, with grass being cut with a lawnmower. Well, I associate vetiver and cedarwood with sleep. So my brain then just goes, okay, sleep time. Dosh. It's just, again, it's the conditioning. So And that's how I use it, and I use it, and we're using it with the clinical trial people, and it's not to sell oils. It's not, it's not about selling oils. It's about giving them something else that the body can naturally process, naturally work with whilst they come off the medication that is causing the, causing the imbalance in their body to be even worse. Hocus pocus, it's been called, or voodoo. Hocus pocus. People say that about a lot of things until when it gets proved scientifically, and then suddenly everybody is able to believe it then, aren't they? It's like, look where we are, what we're doing. Why would plant medicine, where plants live, not be helpful to us? But because we're conditioned on, well, that doctor with the white coat on says this is going to help and everyone else is doing it. So that's what I want to do. Absolutely. Like people look at the moon and go, how can that even do anything? You're thinking, no, like literally people have just, yeah. Um, the moon's made of cheese. There's a site, uh, there's a website called PubMed. P-U-B-M-E-D, pubmed.gov. It's basically the medical, um, I was gonna say suppository then, like a medical depository of all the clinical trials. And if you put in there cancer and frankincense, for an example, you will get all of the, all of the information, all of the trials where frankincense has been responsible for killing cancer cells. Wow. It's not something that we talk about. If you put in, um, rosemary and dementia or Alzheimer's, you will see where rosemary oil has helped with the slowing down of, um, the degeneration of brain cells. All this stuff is there. Yeah, essential oils don't earn millions Yeah, it's interesting. It's all there, but it's not widely known. So I love that you guys are help getting it out there because it can help people and stop them taking drugs that might be harming them when they might not necessarily need them. Obviously, sometimes drugs are needed. So, yeah, absolutely, absolutely. But for everyday stuff, for everyday stuff, like headache, you don't need to take pills for headaches. If you know, first thing you do when you've got a headache is, why have you got a headache? Have you drunk enough water today? The answer is generally no. Oh, your body's saying, I'm dehydrated, drink some water. Or I had too many glasses of wine last night. Yeah, again, the answer is dehydration, isn't it? Yeah, yeah. So your body is talking to you all the time, but because we are walking heads, yeah, we're not listening. We switch off, don't we? Switch off. Um, Claire, I wanted to ask you a little bit on meditation because a lot of people are hearing about meditation now. We know that it works and it's powerful, but We don't really know why. So do you want to talk a little bit more on the sort of neuro side of it and the impact it has on the brain? Like maybe the new synapses are created and pathways and what, why it is so powerful to do meditation. Because I think I remember you saying at the retreat, we don't meditate to get good at meditation. We meditate to get good at life. Yes. You were listening. She's such a good student, isn't she? Oh my God, Claire. Um, yeah, it's— oh God, it literally— if you can— again, the walking head thing, it's when you— when people say to me, I've tried to meditate and I can't do it because I can't clear the minds, and I'm like, first of all, you won't clear the mind. You will always have thoughts. We have like 60,000 to 70,000 thoughts a day, and that's fine, um, but let's observe them. So meditation is about observing your thoughts and then noticing how they make you feel, um, and sitting with that feeling and not trying to push it away, allowing however you feel in that moment that you're meditating to feel. So if you feel happy, sad, hungry, tired, whatever, just notice and observe, and, and that's fine. Um, it also takes the body out of fight or flight and puts it into rest and digest. So when we're in fight or flight with all of the modern-day stresses like traffic jams and kids to school and looking after parents or paying the bills. They're all modern-day stresses. They're all stresses that are not going to kill us. We're like, our ancestors were getting chased by tigers and, and running into caves, and then when they got to the cave, they, they know that they were safe. But in the modern day, we're just jumping from like traffic jam to work, picking the kids up, going shopping, paying the bills, mother-in-law or father-in-law, one of them, So we never ever have that time to— or watching the news. We never have that time to go, ah, let me just rest, let me just not do anything, because the body's always saying, oh well, I'm not used to you resting or sitting down, I'm used to you doing something. Um, because we don't— as well, mobile phones, they're another distraction. So it's like if we, if we do sit down to stressed, then we're probably scrolling on the phone, then we're picking up, you know, negative news or looking at social media. Could be, it could be positive news if you— it depends on how aware you are, but you're just constantly feeding the mind and body with that stress. So then that puts us into fight or flight, and that puts us into disease where there's blocked energy in the body, and we end up just holding on to things, trying to control our life, and you're going from stress to another, to another, to another, and then you just narrow focus then, and you're not noticing anything else going on around you but just that zone that you are in. You want to get away from that, whatever that predator is. So meditation, and just doing a daily meditation practice, gives you that time to sit, close your eyes, breathe, allow serotonin and dopamine to flood the body so that, that then puts you into that rest and just by doing a 60-second breath session, then kicks off that— those lovely, um, hormones to flood the body. A 10 to 15-minute meditation of a morning, which is what I normally do, brings the two hemispheres of the brain together. So it allows the corpus callosum, the bridge in between the two brains, to grow thicker, so that when you are in a traffic jam, or you, you know, your boss asked you to do something last minute, or the kids are up. You are, you've got access to, to the left and right sides of the brain. So the logical sides and the heart to be able to respond better in that moment rather than to be react and kick off and shout. Um, which then causes that to come back at you because the, the people that you shouting at will come back at you with that reaction. It allows you to just look at stuff in the present moment to be able to respond more creatively to that stress at that time. So you then are able to float better through life because you're just in the present moment of the present moment and you're not thinking about, I've got to get there, I've got to do this, but you're just there. So what you— what it starts to do is as well, because you're out of narrow focus, fight or flight, you start to be able to come out of the narrow focus on the bigger picture and you float into life better. So Yes, there's lots more that you can learn about that, but I would suggest someone start taking up meditation. That's incredible. Ladies, this is all we've got time for.
