Feng Shui Foon – February Horoscope

On the Feng Shui Fun show, we share inspiring tips with our Feng Shui tips and regular horoscopes to empower you to live your best life. My name is Ting Fun Chicken. I'm a Feng Shui master and Chinese astrologer. And in February is the start of a new Chinese year. It's going to be the Year of the Pig. Now, each Chinese year brings with it some different qualities and the pig Year. The pig is what's called a water creature. So when water is around, it's time for you to communicate with others, to reach out. And the pig is a straightforward, no nonsense creature. So be prepared to say what you think and for others to do the same. Now this is a particular type of pig ear. This is an Earth Pig year. So what's the difference between an Earth Earth pig and any other type of pig year? The earth element brings a sense of self discipline to the free flowing waters of the pig. So it could be a time for you to be quite grounded and it's a good time to think clearly, to make sure that you make 2019 a really great year. Let's talk about each of the Chinese horoscope signs. Let's start with the rat. If you were born in 1972, 1984 or 1996, those are rat years. So February is the year, the first month of the year of the pig. And there's an animal rearing each month as well as an animal rearing each year. So 2019 is pig year and February is the Tiger Month for you. As a rat sign, Tiger Month is a good time for you to get yourself noticed. Is there something you want to do where you will be under the spotlight? Be prepared to stand out and do it in your own way. There will be people who will love what you have to say and there will be those who don't connect with you. Let go of being concerned with those people who are not of the same mind and be willing to talk more to those who share the same philosophy. It could be that there are some people, new people who will come in, who will come into your life this month, nurture those new contacts. And when you can build harmonious relationships between colleagues or between friends, you will really enjoy February Ox. You were born in the year of the Ox. If you were born in 1973, 1985 or 1997, it's a new Chinese year and it's Tiger Month, the first month of the pig Year. Some decisions are quite simple and straightforward. Other decisions could be quite complex. Be prepared to look at all the options available to you before you make a decision. This particularly applies to my money matters and it could also apply for career when it comes to time to have with your loved ones and time for romance, remember to find a balance between shared activities and for you to do those things which mean the most to you. Take time for yourself. Tiger February is Tiger Month. So it's your month and it's the new Pig Year. When your Tiger personality steps into the Pig year, you're moving into a time where you can easily attract to you those things that you need. Remember I said it's those things that you need when which might not be those things that you want. So if this month you find yourself facing a situation which wasn't what you were hoping for, think about the lessons that can be learned. Sometimes when things don't go your way, you gain a whole new perspective and you learn something which will be so helpful when your plans turn out in your favour. So be open to learning new things and seeing the positive side. Rabbit if you were born in 1975, 1987 or 1999, you were born in the Year of the Rabbit. You can count backwards from 1975 every 12 years to find other rabbit years. When you step into the New Pig Year, it's a time when helpful people can come and lend you a hand. You need to be open to receiving support and that begins with asking for the help you need. Who is there that you can turn to to help you do something that you feel a little bit stuck with? There are those around you who have answers, so be prepared to keep asking until you find what you're looking for this month. Watch out for moments when you might need to keep going, particularly if there's a bit of competition. Choose to see competition as something that that spurs you on to work a little bit harder or have a bit more fun. Dragon when you step into February, it's the year of the Pig, a new Chinese year. And it's also Tiger Month. There's a Chinese saying, be careful what you wish for, so try. Dragon. What are you wishing for this month? What are your hopes and dreams for the year ahead? When you wish for something, think clearly about what it is that you truly want and also think about what you can do to make things happen. Your Dragon personality can really fly high and achieve a great deal. Remember to set aside time to have some fun. Snake if you were born in 1977, 1989 or 2001, you were born in the Year of the Snake. People often turn to you as a snake sign to ask for your wise advice. This this month and this year, you could find yourself being the person who needs to get some helpful hints from others who can help you see a situation a bit more clearly. It might be that some people can give you some really helpful advice, or it might be that some of the advice isn't very meaningful. Be prepared to sift through all the information you get to help you get better informed in this pig year. Think about what sort of changes you might want to make. Changes are afoot for you, so are you going to be the one to instigate change and then feel a bit more in control of your own destiny? Be open to new things this year. Be open to change and do not be afraid to ask more questions to make sure you're on the right track. So have a great year ahead. Now that's the first six signs of the Chinese horoscopes. In part two, we will be back with the other six signs. So let's wrap up with this segment with a little tip, a little feng Shui tip for the year. For the Year of the Pig 2019. Now, each of the Chinese animal signs, as well as ruling a year, rules a direction. And in 2019, the pig is coming from the northwest. So this means that the Year Ruler in the northwest, and if you want to have the help of the Year ruler, try and sit with your back to the northwest. When you're at home, and particularly if you're doing something important, attending an important meeting, you can always use the compass on your smartphone to help you check the direction. So sit with the northwest behind you. That means sit you're facing south east and avoid having yourself facing the northwest because if you face the Year Ruler, that's going to put yourself into a confrontational position. And you've got to be careful when you do that. So remember to sit with your sit facing southeast and with the northwest behind you and check that out from time to time. This is the Chinese Horoscope show for February 2019 how do you say Happy New Year in Chinese? Well, in Cantonese we say and you could also that means wishing you happiness and prosperity. And you can also say it in Mandarin. You can say actually Happy New Year, which is Xin Yin Kuai Le. So that's wishing you a Happy New Year for Chinese New Year 2019 the Year of the Pig in part one, we talked about the first six Chinese astrology signs and now we're talking about the remaining six. There are a total of Chinese animal signs for 12 years. So every 12 years we complete a cycle of the 12 animals and we're back again with another cycle. So the 2019 year animal is the Year of the Pig and if you were born in the Year of the Horse, this is your horoscope. If you were born in 1978, 1990 or 2002, those are horse years.
