And I am particularly enthusiastic today about our program because we have the high priestess of the crystal world, none other than than Judy hall herself. Hello, Judy. Hi, Avril. It's lovely to be with you. Yes, I'm so glad that you're here. I've been really looking forward to our conversation because I know that it's going to be not only interesting but really exciting as well. And so let's start off by hearing a little bit about you. I'm always very interested in how people get into their journeys and into their niche, if you like. So if you could tell us a bit about that. Well, I've had a bit of a funny journey, I suppose most of us do, actually. When I was a child I was very interested in pretty stones and my grandparents lived in the Lake District and of course that's somewhere you can pick them up. So by the time I was about, I suppose, 26, 27, I had a massive collection of crystals. Didn't know what any of them were. I began to study astrology. I'd always been psychic and somehow I to bring all of those together. So I started out actually as an astrologer and I still call myself a karmic astrologer and. Oh yes, and I do crystals. It's one of those things because what I did was I'd do a reading for somebody, usually they wouldn't be there and I would put crystals on their chart and then when I somebody for comic regression or whatever we were doing, I'd put crystals on them then and they'd say to me, what's that? And I'd have to admit I didn't know. I knew what it did. I knew intuitively it was the right crystal for them or for their chart. But I needed to find out and I was acquiring more and more because I'd met a funny old man in Southend who lived in a shop with a lot of oil barrels and every time you asked him, what's this? He'd say, find out. And that was it. He refused to tell you the name of anything. So I was getting more and more crystals and I looked for a book eventually and couldn't find one that told me what they all were. And I was very fortunate because I knew Debbie Thorpe, who at the time had Godsville Press and had just started the Bible series and said, well, Write a book. I'd already done a couple for her because she wasn't quite ready to go into a whole directory. And I said, look, it really is time, you know? And thank goodness she was a small publisher who believed in me. And she just. As soon as we actually got it out, she sold it to Hamlyn. And we've just sold our 2 millionth copy of the series. Wow. Which is just so exciting. It's very. The editor sent me a letter saying, taking into account all the different translations and the three volumes we've now got, we're up to 2 million. And it was so exciting. I was in Romania just a couple of weeks ago, and I was at Dracula's castle, and there was a crystal stall. It wasn't a shop. It was a tiny little tent. And he had the crystal Bible. And he couldn't believe that the author of the crystal Bible was standing in his shop. It's like being treated like a rock star. It was almost sort of on his knees, actually. One guy did go down on his knees in another crystal shop, said, thank you for writing that. I needed that book. So it's wonderful. You know, it's lovely. When you meet the people who are actually using it, the books fall into pieces. They apologize. I say, no, it shows. You use it. That's how I like to see a book. That's a fabulous story. I love this idea of the funny old man with the barrels. Oh, he was great. He was so big. He sat on a sort of one these office chairs and overflowed it everywhere. He never got up. He never moved. And sadly, he died. And his daughter took over. Well, she inherited the shop and closed it because she didn't know what to do with it. And we could have. All those who were using crystals could give us some very good ideas. But it just happens. One of those things that just happens. And next time you go, you find the shop shut, you know, and that's it. Aw, it's very sad. He was a character. But progress continues. And getting back to Santiago, I think that, you know, we don't always see the value of the work that we do, because to other people in their lives to kind of have access to information. And, you know, I think they have great respect for people who provide that. That information. Well, usually, yes. And I think that, you know, it's very meaningful them, I think, to get into contact with the person who's provided that information and put it together. And that series of the Bibles is a perfect example of that, because Sarah Bartlett, I Think she wrote the Tarot Bible and then Crystal Bible so many times. Yes. And it, it's been an interesting journey because there was one point where it looked like Crystal Bible one might go out of print because they weren't selling quite as quite as many thousands as they had before. And I kept saying to them, can we have Crystal Bible 2 and then 3. And they were hesitant, shall we say, to do it because the marketing department weren't in touch with crystal fanatics like I was and they couldn't see the point. But it really became a very solid. I think it was up to about 15, 16 titles. And then I was so lucky because having done that, I then wanted to answer a question that people kept asking me, which was how do I find a crystal for a certain purpose that I have? And I don't actually like limiting crystals for that and I certainly don't like limiting my answer to one. So I had quite a few suggestions for different people. But Hamlin, again, the marketing department weren't that sure that there would be a market for that. So I needed a smaller publisher really. And the lovely John Hunt, who had done my novel and various other things, actually contacted me and said, I want a book called Crystal Prescriptions. I said, I've written a book called Crystal Prescriptions. So I send it and sent it over. And we're now on volume. I'm just done. Volume 7, 6 is out. Volume 7 will be out shortly. And I've given you a middle one. That's not volume six, it's volume four in fact. And I've got to say it's. I find it really inspiring to be talking to someone who's such a prolific writer in the holistic field because, you know, it certainly gives me a bit of hope as a, you know, as I want to produce my own work and get it out there. And so these stories are really quite riveting and really inspiring. Well, that was the intention when I started. I mean, I was so lucky to have. John was a very hands on publisher who'd been doing books on spirituality. So he wasn't particularly looking for the first level person coming in. He knew that with the Crystal Bibles we'd already established that. And he also knew that there were people that did want to look up a stone which we provided, but we could also say something about how to use them. And that's what the series has evolved into. So the latest is Ancestral Healing. I think the one you've got there is on the chakras. It is. And it gave me the chance to do some introductory work, tell people what the chakras were, how they could use them with crystals and then go into the crystals and the issues as a, as a directory so people could look up what they needed. Yeah. So it was a happy medium for me between wanting to say to people, crystals do so much more and saying, and this is what they're noted for. Do you know what I love about your work, Judy, is that it's not just about crystals per se though, because you learn so much more as well as you know. So, for example, you know, we can look here at the ancestral body, for example, or the planetary body. So it's not just learning about how these various bodies work with the crystals, but what these bodies actually are. And I think, you know, that in itself is very healing and empowering. And we've been chatting about Judy's journey thus so far. And just before we move on, I really would like just to have a couple of minutes chatting about karma and karmic astrology. Karma always seems to bring about a good debate. And I would love to have your definition of karma, Judy. For me, my definition is actually quite wide. It's nowhere near the eye for an eye. And I think it's about bringing balance and that we can experience things which to other people may appear very detrimental, but actually we're learning from that. So for me, karma is a learning experience and a balancing experience. And it's something we create from moment to moment. It's not, oh, you were naughty girl in the past life, so you're going to have a bad time in this one, or, oh, you were a little angel last time, so you're going to come back and have a wonderful life. Because my feeling I'm trying to work out, I've been doing this 40 years. 50 years. 50 years, taking people back. I must have regressed thousands of people and read thousands of charts. And it's not a case of you're being punished. It's a case of what does your soul want to learn, how does it want to grow, how it does. And karma is a tool for doing that. But I also think we can move beyond our karma if it becomes appropriate. We don't have to go on slogging away at it. Yes, I would agree with that wholeheartedly, because I think that karma evolves as we do, and I think we can change karma through transformation. Oh, absolutely. Which I think karma and understanding the dynamic of karma is a valuable tool for transformation. And I think that is, you know, I always see it very simply as consequences as a result of action. Yes. So I suppose that mindfulness Would be central to any kind of talk around karma. I think as soon as you really become aware, A lot of people talk very glibly about karma, but without. They get stuck in it. Yes. As soon as you become really aware and you do move into that position where you're more of the observer, which to me, mindfulness gives you that ability to be the observer of what is going on. You don't get hooked into it so quickly. And then you begin to see where the learning process is going, where it's been, and how you can step out or how you can make a shortcut or take a shortcut to clear something that you no longer need to have hanging over your head. And a lot. This is what a lot of the new crystals are saying. The ones that are coming out of probably of the last 10 or 15 new crystals, at least three quarters have cleared karma, but cleared in the way that it's not just pretending it doesn't exist. You know, you recognize that, you move on. And then they've looked at, okay, now how are we going to evolve to a higher level, a higher dimension Vibration get very stuck for words because it's not something that's superior to what we've got now. And yet if we talk about higher vibration, it sounds a bit elevated and superior and all those things. What is that anyway? But it's a frequency thing. You can feel with these crystals that you're lifted up a bit. The only way I can describe it, you're still grounded, you're still attached to the planet, but your mind can just go that bit further. It can see that bit further, and then it can contact all these other dimensions and the wisdom that's there. And once you get up there and you look at what's going on down here, as it were, it all becomes rather sort of really, you know, humanity still doing that. And I went to a talk the other night, Somebody was saying how humanity is on the evolution through conflict ray, which is what my mentor said 50 years ago, and we better get off that quick then, hadn't we? And he's still talking about that. And it's like, how long is humanity going to take to have all these conflicts that help it to evolve? Because don't really see much evolution going on at the ground level of that. And you need to sort of pull away from it, rise up a few from it a bit, and then you begin to see an overall picture that really isn't very healthy. We do tend to get stuck in a groove. And I think that that's Partly our work is to kind of keep prompting and motivating elevation, elevation towards evolution. And sometimes it almost feels like taking eight steps forward and. But I think that, you know, slowly but surely changes happen. And I think people are asking more questions about chaos and conflict, for example, and how we can perhaps use these in a very fortuitous way in order to precipitate transformation. Yes. And that's where my feeling on this talk was. I was going and. And, you know, waiting to get to the. And this is what we can do, but we never quite made it, you know. But I wrote a book called the Book of why about past life work because I was so interested in this and because so many people see negative experiences as negative, full stop, end of. But actually you can learn so much from being in a very difficult position. Yes. And astrology tells us that because everything has two sides in astrology. So I wrote the book of why to look at, well, why do people get HIV and things like that and what can come out of that, which is amazing. I mean, the compassion that can come out of that and other things. That's just one example. But I've known so many people who've said, at the end of the day, I'm so glad I went through that because I've learned so much. That sounds like you were very brave writing that book that, you know, because you're making big statements there. But to us, we can probably see it as a process. Yes. And I think that's what it is. And I wrote that and I also wrote the soulmate myth. That one got a few people going. Oh. Because I think soulmates to the people who are here to help us learn some very hard karmic lessons. And I think a twin flame is what everybody thinks they mean, is what people are meaning when they say, I want to meet my soul mate and I want to have this wonderful happy life. We're going to be so happy. And my kind of inner goes, oh, really, I've seen too many because I'm very biased because probably 78 of my astrology client base are people who said, I've met my soul mate and it's hell, you know, but it's not punishment. It's something you've agreed before you came. This conversation is such. I wish we had all day, Judy. Actually, because one of my passions is something that I do call woundology, and it's looking at the difference between a soul mate and a wound mate. Oh, yes. And both are quite powerful deliverers of the truth in our life. But again, I think that we, we often don't have the toolbox in processing what that lesson is actually delivering. Absolutely. And that's why I find it really useful having this other concept of the twin flame who people usually only meet much later on in life. Yes. Unless they've got a very big, not karmic, but soul plan that they're putting into operation and then they might meet much earlier. But the twin flame is what everybody hopes for in a soulmate, but without the karma or without the contracts to go through the wounds. Oh, bring it on. There's hope for me yet and me the long time to wait. I think I should be hoping to the day I leave. So this is all lovely stuff, but what I'd like to do now is let's bring us into the crystal world. Now you were saying about that there are new crystals that have been appearing. So what I think we'll do now is we'll go to a quick break and then we'll come back and we'll have a good old chin wag. You're listening to Avril Price with Kitchen Sink Spirituality, the voice of holistic London and we're having a really super time talking with Judy hall about all things crystal, karma, astrology, and where I'd like us to go with. Now the conversation is about new crystals because I think it ties in quite nicely with what we were talking about, karma, because it's almost as if it's the earth being generous and sharing her karma with us as these new crystals appear at various stages of the evolution of humanity. Or would you say that I'm on the right track? And the other side of that is the earth needs healing because we've despoiled her as a race and a lot of the energy lines are broken and there's been a lot of trauma. And what the earth is doing is sending us, revealing to us the crystals that will help heal the Earth and then in turn that helps us to heal humanity and move up to another level. And one of my favorite crystals at the moment is one I brought in for you, the Ancestral Light. Now, we had been told time and time again in workshops and talking to crystals. I spend a lot of my time talking to crystals. And we won't go into that. Some people will understand and some people think the woman's crazy and I really don't care. I talk to crystals and they answer. So we had been saying, but where does, where, how far does it go back? You know, where do we have to go back to heal it? Yeah. And the crystals kept saying the ancestral source. And I was using the ancestral tree, the ancestral timeline, and putting a lot of crystals for that, grids, putting crystals on people to help with that work. But we never knew quite how far we could go back. We needed to go back. We'd take the healing back as far as we could, bring it back, send it out into the future so that future generations would benefit. And also we wanted to heal the wounds and the pain, the trauma. But we wanted to bring forward the learning because of course, there has been a lot of learning in that time. So I was quietly bemoaning to myself the lack of an easy to work with crystal that would do this in a very quick way. Because I'm always looking for quick solutions because I don't feel we've got time. You know, I've spent 50 years doing this work and I haven't got much longer. And I'd love to see some of it come to fruition. It's that sort of sense. So I'd put that out. I was going to Belfast to do some healing there. Now when we're in Belfast, first of all, we worked in the Falls Road, then we went to the Shank Hill Road. This time at the weekend, I'm going to be there, and we're going to be in a hotel that was bombed by the ra. So every time we go somewhere, we find there's ancestral stuff. And so it was perfectly, beautifully, synchronicity, synchronous, just whatever. When I walked in and Paul, who runs the crystal store for us, said, have you seen this? And held out a piece of this lovely shiny silver and burgundy stone and said, it seems to work on the ancestral line. So Gillian, who was. Who runs. Organizes my Belfast workshop, said, ancestralite, with the emphasis on light. And he said, yes, it seems you can go back to the source. So, of course, we abandoned what we were going to do and immediately tested this new crystal out, which is what usually happens. And it took us back. Yes, you could go back through the family tree, you could do the family healing. But then it seemed to make some sort of quantum jump to the. What we could only describe as the ancestral source. And it would work in there to release, to let go whatever was not beneficial, but it pulled out and brought forward right down so everybody could bring it down their ancestral line, the gifts from the ancestors. So I got really excited, tracked down where it had come from, talked to them. It was a wholesaler in Bristol and found out that it was newly discovered. The guy was having to backpack it out because it was in the wilderness of Canada. It was an old volcano that had been pushed up to the surface, and it had got hematite and various other things in it which had metamorphosized. So an old base, whatever, had transformed into something new, which seemed to be very symbolic and that he's had carved for me some skulls which I took to an ancestral healing workshop. Oh, that was fun. They've got a great sense of humor, skulls. People quite frightened about crystal skulls, but they're great to work with. And these were particularly good because they kept insisting the ancestral source don't get hooked up on the detail, which was great, you know, because people love to know who they were, why they were, why their parents did this, and. And this was just like, go right back. You can recognize some attitudes maybe, but get back to the gifts and bring it forward. So that's what we did. And then he had some big skulls carved which are now in my care. And I'm waiting. They're too heavy to take to workshops, and they. They are as heavy as my hand luggage on a plane. So I know they're waiting to go out to other people. And they've said, they want to go to people who are actually working as a group to heal the ancestors. And then that opens the way for all these other exciting crystals that have come which actually work at multidimensional levels. And they will work if we look at the ancestors in a different way and we look at the DNA that we've inherited. I was watching this fascinating program that I'd recorded and was watching last night about Neanderthal DNA. I don't know if you saw it. Apparently we've all got some. And that was quite interesting because we'd been saying ancestral traits come forward, we have them, we live them out. And of course, yes, they're carried in, in the DNA. What the ancestral light does. And some of the other crystals, it actually gets in between your cell walls on your etheric and physical level. And it works with the DNA there. Possibilities of change. Gosh, I'm absolutely enraptured by this conversation. It's wonderful stuff. So there's so many things that I want to, I want to pull out of that, that conversation. Let's, let's concentrate on the schools for a moment. So how many skulls do you have? I've got a storage unit. I've had to have a storage unit because I had so many crystals. The house is full and I mean, they move, they move. Some of them are definitely themselves. Yes, between the house and in it all the time. But they move on. They saved me for a certain time. Then they will announce that they want to leave. And I've got one which is a really good example of a fairly new crystal because it's Lemurian. It's a Lemurian which carries memories of Lemuria and Atlantis and apparently allegedly has been coded with information that will help us move on. So it's quite a high vibration crystal. And I was gifted this skull and she worked with some of mine to. She brought the information down from a high level. My existing skulls grounded it. There's no good if it's just floating about in the east. So you've got to really bring it down here. So she was working and then she went very quiet. So I put her in the storage unit. I bet she wasn't happy about that. She has said she wants to move on now. It's difficult to find, as you can imagine, the right person. I have a crystal community. Some of them might want to. But she also said she wanted to do some good at the same time. And my granddaughter is walking the Great Wall of China for the Salisbury Hospital Stars appeal. Oh, that's Wonderful. She's collecting money, so we're going to auction the skull. We're going to talk some more about these crystals when we come back from our break. You're listening to Avril Price with Kitchen Sink Spirituality, the voice of holistic London and we're having a fabulous time with Judy Hall. We've been discussing crystal skulls in storage units and now I want to talk about this beautiful piece of ancestral light that you've given me to hold it. It feels absolutely beautiful. I love this sheen it has on it. Which must be the hematite. Yes. I always think that hematites for grounding, this is what I like. It grounds all the work we do, regardless of whether we're contacting something very high level or we're working in the earth with the earth, which we do quite a lot. Hematite actually makes it concrete manifest on this level. So it brings it into the physical. Yes. Now my first reaction when you gave this to me was to smell it oddly sniffing. I still sniffing a crystal. But my comment then was, I'm wondering if I relate to my ancestors and people who've gone before me through the sense of smell that maybe have a very sensual relationship with my ancestors. But just to clarify, what exactly is ancestral healing? Well, basically it means balancing up the ancestral line, ironing out any traumas, because we haven't got time to talk about it. But it is all in crystal. Prescription six. There's been so much research done on the effect of ancestral trauma on people who are living now, how it affects the DNA. And so part of the work we're doing with ancestral healing is actually switching off the negative DNA and switching on the beneficial, which is right on the forefront of science because they are actually discovering it can be done. Finally they're catching up, you know, which I always like when they catch up. But the idea of ancestral healing is to take out any traumas, serious traumas, but also attitudes and genetic dispositions. There's many, many things. And these ancestral healing stones will work on the present physical body and work in cooperation with the DNA. I think that's the best way to put it. So that if you've got a potential, you're carrying that traumatic memory, it'll switch it off and then it doesn't carry forward into the future. I'm particularly interested in this subject because it arises in my own work and that every now and again you'll have somebody with you whose sole purpose at that time is to heal those that have gone before, to elevate them into the new higher realms. But also I think it's about healing glitches in consciousness that keep arising from generation to generation. And again, we haven't got a lot of time to talk about it, so I won't go into it too deeply. You're gonna have to come back and we can talk about it again because I'd love to tell you about what we did in Belfast that I find so exciting about healing the cultural wounds. And as we know, Ireland was absolutely ravaged for many, many years and it's still has left. I really have no word for it, but it's left something in the consciousness because my friend who I stay with, her mother who worked for the army, still looks under a car before she gets into it. Wow. Now, that's the kind of ingrained action that's built on memory of trauma. So it's learned behavior, it's learnt behavior that if she's beginning now, she's working with us quite a lot on this, she's beginning to switch that off and turn it around. But you can't do one workshop and it's done. No, we've done three, four. We're gonna do dragons bringing in dragon consciousness to try and clear this some more. We've done that once before already. So what is dragon consciousness? Well, it's an energy that works through the earth, round the earth, above the earth. And they've got some wisdom that we need basically to simplify it down to it. Yeah, yeah. And they've got the energy to move it all around the world because they work with the ley lines on the Earth and the Earth's grid. I'm glad you said that, because that's what I perceived dragons to be as a. As a symbol, as that they were symbolic of the energy contained within the Earth, that they create meridians and matrixes that hold the space for Mother Earth. So there's that level of them. Then there's the cosmic dragons that do that for our universe. Cosmic dragons, wow. Which is what we're going to play with. I was in Avery last weekend playing with that. Oh, that was amazing. And then I'm going to Belfast to do it. Yeah. But that's bringing. It makes you realize that we've got this little Earth that's connected to bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger systems of these grids and we can work with those through the dragons and we can all do that, can't we? It's so easy. I put it the Crystal Companion, which I was hoping we'd have one to show you, which hasn't arrived, is my latest book and it's got how to Work with a Dragon in it. So tell us about this book then, Judy. So the Crystal Companions is your latest book. Who is it published by? Hamlin Hamlin. And what can we expect from this book? What's new in it? The intention was, what I've always wanted to do was first of all, put it into color, into a sort of rainbow of stones to help people pick out what they wanted. But then it's in sections so you can look up how to help your child, how to work with a dragon, how to work with the ancestors, how to work with the chakras, and then it's followed by stones that are appropriate for that so it's more accessible. You don't have to keep looking in the index to find a way of working or stone to work, and then look in another book to find out how you'd actually use it. It's all in one book. And it gave me the opportunity, sneaking in about 50 new stones that I'm just hoping and praying there will be sufficient of. Because when I did Crystal Bible 3, I put a lot of new stones in and they were very small finds. But the standard in the Crystal Companion especially is a photograph. It's so good. You can actually use the photograph to convey the energy. Oh, my goodness, that's amazing. I've had a wonderful time. I found a young photographer when I was doing the Crystal Wisdom Oracle cards, which I wanted to be able to put onto you for healing. And Michael could say, that's beautiful, but that's the picture that's got the energy. And it was like, oh, finally, you know, I can actually do this. Crystal shops aren't very happy when I say, well, actually you don't need the actual crystal, but I can imagine. But all of this is on my website, which is www.judyhall.co.uk. it's on my two Facebooks, one of which is Crystal Judy hall, one of which is the Crystal Bible, because we had to do one for that. But then the real core information and the sort of insider information I'm putting on my Crystal community, which is a section of my website that you do have to subscribe to. But given how much information is on there and how much time it's taken and energy and how much we are trying to keep ahead of the game, we're offering these new crystals as soon as they come out. If you put a crystal in a book, it'll take at least a year, probably two years to hit the shops. If you put it on my website, somebody's got it the next day. That's what we've been trying to do. Well, I think your work is absolutely amazing and I think it would be great if other people could come and witness that for themselves. So are you doing a lecture or a gig anywhere soon? Middle of June? I'm actually doing the Crystals for New Consciousness at the College of Psychic Studies. Friday night lecture, showing the pictures and then a workshop the next day to explore it. And what date again is that? I can't remember. My brain is complete. It's the middle of June. It's on my work, it's on my website, on my Facebook page.
