Kitchen Sink Spirituality – Pea Horsley, Truth Of Animal Communication

Kitchen Sink Spirituality·36:00·29 Jan 2019·

Episode Summary

Join Avril Price as she welcomes animal communicator Pea Horsley to Kitchen Sink Spirituality for a fascinating conversation about connecting with animals beyond words. Pea shares her remarkable journey from theatre stage manager to professional animal communicator, sparked by the arrival of her rescue dog Morgan in 2004. Her pivotal moment came during an animal communication workshop when a complete stranger accurately described her home and cat’s favorite spots using only a photograph—a revelation that completely transformed her understanding of what was possible.

Throughout the episode, Pea reveals the breadth of her work communicating with domestic animals like cats, dogs, horses, and ferrets, as well as livestock such as cows and sheep. But her passion extends far beyond—she now leads transformational retreats around the world where people can connect with wild animals in their natural habitats, from swimming with dolphins in Egypt to encountering humpback whales in Hawaii and Panama. Pea discusses how spiritual development and personal growth are inseparable from her work, and how her role as a professional animal communicator is fundamentally about spreading an important message to the world.

This is Avril Price women's radio station, the voice of women worldwide. And this is Kitchen Sink Spirituality, where we're bringing you the news, the views here in London and across the world. And especially a big hi to our listeners in the States, Canada and Australia. Wish you were here. We have a beautiful sunny day in London and I'm especially excited because I have a very special guest with us today who is going to be talking to us about her career as an animal communicator. But I just want to let you know that you must keep listening because throughout the program I'm going to be giving you our email details and if you answer a question correctly, you will be receiving her book. So without further ado, then, let's go to speak to P. Horsley. Hi, P. Hi, how are you? I'm great, actually. Thank you very much for having me on your show. You're very welcome. And thank you so much for joining us. And I've got to say that it's a little while since we've seen each other because we do know each other, don't we? We do. And I think we've just been like, heads down, busy, busy, busy, haven't we? We have. We've both been a pair of busy bees. But it's great to see and you look amazingly well and I'm really excited to be able to talk to you about your absolute blistering career as an animal communicator. So first of all, Pete, do tell us how, why, what, where does this story begin? Okay. Well, it begins, it begins for me in 2004. I'd been working as a theatre stage manager in London, West End, but also across the UK and across the world. But I got to a point where I realized I didn't want to do that for the rest of my life. I wanted to get back to my first love, which was animals. And I started. I went through like a whole list of different careers that I could have had if I moved into working with animals. You know, like running a dog walking service or a cattery, etc. And it was none of those. It was actually nothing that I could name. It was like I realized it was something else that I didn't even know what it was called. And then what happened is I adopted my first dog, Morgan, from a rescue. He's Beagle Cross. And his arrival introduced me to that animal profession that I would then enter because he introduced me to animal communication. And the way he did that was when he arrived, he was sad and I thought it's something that I'm doing wrong, because I know cats really well, but I don't know dogs. And then I was invited via the mailing list to attend an animal communication workshop. I thought that was just a politically correct way of saying, read your dog's body language. And I turned up thinking I'd be able to help Morgan, but actually it was nothing like that. And in fact, there were like 20 of us in a circle, and 19 people were crying, listening to these kind of Dr. Dolittle stories. And then there was me sitting there with my legs crossed and my arms crossed, thinking, oh, my goodness, what am I doing here? I don't believe a word of this. And I nearly walked out at lunchtime, actually. But something made me stay, and thank goodness I did, because then in the afternoon, we got paired up. I had this kind of conversation with a rabbit through his photograph. That didn't convince me animal communication was real and something practical and effective. What convinced me was when this complete stranger who had a picture of my cat, Texas, started to describe my hallway, which is really distinctive color of my sofa, where it was positioned and his favorite thing to sit on in the garden at that time and what it was. And I just thought, how does she know that? You know, it's like she's had a private tour of my home by Texas behind my back. And I went on a second workshop. And it was on that second workshop, I had, you know, what I would call my light bulb moment, my awakening. And when my light got switched on, all those things, when I went, this is it. This is that thing that I. That I've never heard of, that I didn't know what the name of it was. This is the thing that I'm meant to be doing with my life, and this is actually why I'm here. So over the years, then you must have encountered lots of different animals. Yeah, definitely. I have a lot of clients that want consultations from all over the world, in fact, because I only need a photograph of their animal, which can be emailed, and they tend to be domestic animals. Cat, dog, horse, goat, ferret, rat. You know, all of the ones that you'd expect. Yeah. But then I also have people who want me to communicate with their. With their. With their chickens, with their budgies, with their snakes, with their geckos. And then I also go further than that, because I also communicate with sheep and cows. I've held a sacred cow workshop with a biodynamic farmer a couple of times, which was just incredible. Spending time with the herd of cows. And beyond that, I now take people on retreats around the world, which are wild animal retreats, meeting wild animals in their natural habitats. So I've taken people to Egypt to connect and to swim with dolphins, wild dolphins, never in captivity. I've also taken people to Panama to spend time with the humpback whales in the water, in the ocean with the humpback whales, which is incredible because, oh, when they sing, the tone just goes through you and you can literally, if you're sensitive enough, know the different parts of your body, the different chakras, where they are toning at that time. And I've got. I've taken people to Hawaii and I'm taking people back to Hawaii. So anyone that is interested in joining me on a cetacean communication retreat, I'm taking a group of people to Hawaii in March next year as well. And there's a few places left on that. Well, we'll come back to that a bit later on in the show. But, you know, I've got to say that. What was the impulse that made you decide, that's it, I am going to be an animal communicator? Because many would argue that it's quite a strange career choice. It was just. It was a knowing. It was just such a deep knowing, whether it was in my solar plexus, whether it was in my heart. I'm not even sure I could say that now. I just knew. And from that knowing, I was then determined to do everything that I needed to do to make that happen. So coming from a very practical, grounded profession as a stage manager, where you're lugging things and it's hard hours and it's not glamorous at all, I can tell you, to moving into something way more energetic, more spiritual, more transformers, formative. I had to learn things, so I had to do some training and I had to do quite a lot of self development because that was the biggest hurdle. And I had to really get to know myself better than I did. I think that's part of it, though. I think when we do psychic or spiritual development, I think it's six steps forward in your spiritual development, but it's another half a dozen. Personally, I think the two go hand in hand. Yeah, definitely. And I think that's what you say yes to, isn't it? That you are agreeing to develop on lots of different levels. Yeah, exactly. And I think also if you don't, you find very quickly you don't progress because it just doesn't work, you know, it doesn't Go. Well, I've. Gosh, I've changed as a person so much since I've been doing this for 12 years now. And I've changed so much in that time for the better, I'd like to say. And I like who I am. Yeah. And I'm just, I'm actually just really grateful that I, that I discovered animal communication and that I have this incredible honor to. To be able to be in a position to be a link between humans and non human animals. It's incredibly meaningful and privileged I think in my field, which as you know, is tarot. I have come to realize that it's a certain type of person that does that kind of work. Would you say that this would be true of animal communication? I'm just thinking of all the animal communicators I know, whether we have similarities. I mean the main and the ones you've trained as well in. The ones I've trained well, we all adore animals. That's the main trait, You know. So for example, I found that with tarot people we are very down to earth, we're very solid, we have very physical experiences, we're on the coal face of life and we kind of then translate that, not necessarily empathically, but we have this kind of symbolic understanding of how life works. Yeah. Would you, do you understand that that might be the same with your field? Do you know what it is? I think it's the way it works. From what I'm thinking of, how to reply to this question. The way I see it working is that workshop wise and retreat wise people get drawn to a certain energy. Yes. So they were, you know, the people that are attracted to me and to what I'm offering them tend to be really down to earth, not airy, fairy type people and like something solid. And I think it's also because that's how I present myself, that's how I present my website as my window. But I think, I think there's, I think basically there's all sorts of people and they go to all sorts of places to find whatever it is they're seeking and there's nothing wrong in that. So I feel that it's almost as if you're spreading the message out in the world. Yeah. I think honestly that is my role as a professional animal communicator. I feel that's my purpose. And so I do quite a lot of traveling and I say yes to a lot of opportunities in order just to get the word out there. Yeah, I really believe in that. We're often Spirit led. And certainly in my own work, I've gone where spirit have suggested that we go. And I'm going to come back to this very topic when we come back from our short break. Hi, you're with Avril Price, Kitchen Sink Spirituality with. This is Women's Radio station and we are here today discussing animal communication with the very lovely P. Horsley. So where did you start? So you decided that, okay, I've done some training around animal communication. What was your next step? Was it like talking to your own animals or next door's animals? How did it all begin, you know, what was that step you took? Yeah, I think it began with case studies. So I did a lot of. I did training with some different animal communicators, but my main teacher was Amelia Kincaid and. And then I started case studies. So, you know, at some point you've got to start doing it, haven't you? So I did case studies for about a year and what I found is I was working in London's West End. I was doing a show as the company stage manager where I was tracking missing animals in the half hour call, which is 35 minutes before the curtain goes up. And I. Because that was more of my passion than the show because I transitioned emotionally and I thought, I'm gonna have to. I'm gonna have to actually leap off the cliff because this can't carry on. I've got to dedicate all my time to animal communication. And so I just made a decision and I think it was May 22nd when I was like, right now I'm leaving theatre and I'm going to. I'm going to start this professionally. I've got lots of experience. My teacher was encouraging me to take the step. She felt I was ready and I thought this. I'm gonna. I'm just gonna go for it. Yeah. I've got to say that, you know, you, you are probably one of the most successful animal communicators that are certainly around at the moment. And you do indeed do a lot of traveling. I just don't know where you fit it all in, to be honest. But from your experience, would you say that each animal species has the same kind of message for humanity, or are they more unique and individual to the person? I'd say it's always a mistake to generalize species. I think it's really about the individual message within the species from that individual because they all have their different personalities. You know, I mean, one of my favorite species, this particular crab on a beach in Egypt at the Red Sea. I'll never forget this crab because of the interaction that we had. And yet I was there for Dolphins. So I mean, if they have one general message or species, it's that they want humans to learn to love themselves because then the world changes. And that comes through very strongly. If humans will just learn to love themselves and accept themselves, they'll be able to then accept others. They'll be able to live a more loving, compassionate, empathic, gentle life which will impact everyone around them, everyone they work with, plus, plus the environment and all the species in the environment. So that's the big message from non human species. It seems to me that a lot of the spiritual modalities tend to encapsulate this message about self love and about change and about improving living conditions, which is done. It's about compassion essentially, isn't it? Yeah. And in fact, at the back of my new book, there's a call to action for the readers, which is about having a compassionate heart and so not being necessarily a warrior, but actually by being strong and compassionate, that's how everything will change. So what has occurred to me as you're speaking is as I think about the different places you. Cause I know you go to Australia and Egypt and Hawaiian and so let's take Australia, for example. I mean, they've got a whole different bunch of kind of animals there. Would you say that, should we say culturally, if that be the right word, that the message from the animals to the world from that part, from that area is different to say, the creatures that you might find in Hawaii, for example? No, it's the same message. It's the same. It's the same message. And when I was teaching in Australia in July, I think it was, we had some snakes. There's an amazing woman there who rescues snakes who get a really bad rap. And she brought two endangered snakes and they, you know, they are incredible healers and their message was the same, which is, you know, just. Just love yourself, you know, and then life will be easier. I don't know if you know this about snakes. You might, you might know this already. But what snakes do is they, you know how a lot of people fear snakes. Actually what's really happening is that snakes are bringing our own human fear up to the surface. Surface. So the more we fear snakes, actually it's the amount of fear that we embody that we need to release. So they're incredible at helping us shift our own fear and let it go. So they would almost be good therapists for phobias and stuff. Yeah, amazing. I had my first snake encounter was with a royal python who told the students that she wanted to be Called Ruby instead of a number, which is what the park give her. And she was my first experience, actually, of holding a snake. And I thought, oh, I've got to hold the snake because I'm in front of all my students. But my whole body was shaking, and I was thinking, I just hope I don't show that I'm shaking so much. And she did this incredible thing. She. She just communicated to me silently. And I heard her voice, with my own voice, you know, in my head saying, let go. And she. She came up my left arm, then she crossed my chest, she came down my left arm. Then she came to the bottom of my chest, literally slid up my chest. And then, you know, they're very muscular. She pushed herself out so that her head was literally, like, you know, a few millimeters away from my eyes. And all the time she was doing that, she was repeating, let go. And when she brought her face right up to my eyes, I heard this very, very strong let go. And this amazing thing happened, which was all my fear just left me, and I stopped shaking immediately, and I shifted from fear into just, this is fine. And I've got a sense of how incredibly emotional she was and how caring she was and how much she wanted me to be able to release my own fear. And a similar thing happened in Australia with Karma, the snake called Karma, where I was holding him, and I was feeling quite far more confident with snakes by this point. And then somebody said, he stopped, and I stopped. And it was clear visually that we were communicating. And all the students were saying so. And they're like, oh, what's he saying to you? P. What's he saying to you? And I laughed, and I said, well, he's just saying, just relax. At which point his guardian, the snake rescuer, went, huh? Because she communicates telepathically with the snakes amazingly well. Amazingly well. And just to show that I still have a bit more fear to release, which I'm quite aware of, he brought his face right up to my cheek. Wow. And I was like, and this is a snake I'd only known about 10 minutes. And I was like, yeah, yeah. Still got a bit more fear to let go there. And it helped, you know, but they do it in such a way that it's very caring. It doesn't feel. I don't think it feels scary. In fact, we had a student in. In the front row who I said, are you all right to stay in the space? And she's like, okay. She was really scared of them. And by the end, once she'd communicated with our two snakes, Womi and Karma. She was able to have Karma around her neck and. And she said, it's amazing. I just feel this rippling going through me. I just feel like I'm being completely healed. All this rippling is going through me. And when she sat down after she'd had him around her neck, she said, it's still carrying on. And you could see it, literally you could see this energy around her, which is amazing. Wow, that sounds really incredible. I've got to say, I'm listening to you speaking and I don't know much about the history of animal communication, but it seems that it's something that's really piqued in the last decade, for example. Yeah. And it's interesting that you're saying that the animals bring this message about self love and now that's music to my ears because I think that here in the west, we are really dealing with first world problems, first world issues, and at the root of that is a lack of self love. And that we are in fact encouraged to loathe ourselves and to disconnect from ourselves so that we can be in a state of lack and want. And so it's typical capitalist spiritual psychology. I think it's almost as if the animals want us to redress that in some way, particularly as we are supposed to be their guardians. So if we're not loving ourself, then we're. Then we're giving these animals a really hard time. And I've got to say, one of the things I really detest is some of the images that I see on social media. There seems to be. Because it's almost like animals are given, like a human definition. We humanize them and we expect them to be able to process emotions and pain pretty much as humans do. As like I was saying earlier, I detest to see these images on social media about the savagery that the way animals are treated. Do you think that, do you think that there is something in that? I think there's so many things to answer there, to be honest. What I do know is that animals have all of the same feelings and emotion as humans do. But it would be a mistake to anthropomorphise them and to make them be human. Like, I think we need to actually encourage diversity and species differences as well. Okay, lovely. We'll pick up on this again when we come back from our short break. And one lucky winner will be picked out of the hat and will be promptly send the book. So keep listening. So, Pete, we were talking about the rise of animal communication, particularly in the last decade. I remember certainly when I first started in this field, or you know, in holistics, I don't think there was anybody really that was certainly prominent. You seem to have spearheaded yourself quite a movement. Why do you think that there has been a rise and rise of interest in animal communication? I honestly feel that it's because human beings are, they're getting so technologically advanced and connected in that way that they're actually losing their heart connection, which is what sustains our life, the heart connection. And that the knock on effect of that is that people are feeling more lost, they compare themselves to other people more, they're feeling depressed more, They're feeling they have to achieve so much more. And they're finding it harder just to be calm and satisfied with where they are and who they are. And the knock on effect of that is that our human situation is impacting on the environment and of course all the other species in the environment in a really detrimental way right now. And what I've found is in animal communication, the animals are really desperately trying to get us reconnected to our heart and to remind us of what's most important in life, which actually is being generous, being empathic, being compassionate, having peaceful moments, having calm moments, having joy, being playing and you know, not taking life so seriously or ourselves so seriously and not worrying so much, you know, not actually being able to leave the sort of human state of anxiety into being more peaceful and more joyful. And that's what's amazing about the other animals of the animal kingdom. And through the means of animal communication, they are trying to do that. And they are trying to do it really quick, quickly. Because as a species, well, I personally feel as species that we are in crisis and what we are doing is causing a crisis to our planet. So even though people have always been able to communicate with animals, you know, our ancestors used to do it, indigenous cultures still do. Everybody is born with the ability to communicate with animals because it's basically based on deep intuition. It's taken this crisis to really kind of like bring it to the surface more. And I know that media are much more interested in animal communication now. Humans are much more interested, you know, workshops fill out because everybody, it does filter through. Everybody is feeling, I want to connect and rather Than connecting just through their mobile phone on social media. They're actually coming back to the heart, which I think is so inspiring and I absolutely love witnessing it. I absolutely agree. I mean, but for our listeners, what do you mean by crisis? What do you see as the crisis in the world? The way I see it is, is that is the disconnection from our heart. And so I think when you disconnect from your heart, your ego gets very loud. And we are seeking satisfaction through things, possessions and one upmanship rather than actually having more of an acceptance for each other and each other's differences and where, you know, and actually offering helping hands to each other. So the animals are in incredible ways able to bring us back to our heart center and to get us to actually wake up and to see with our eyes open. So you're saying that if we're in a greater place of self love, we're less likely to be in want or lack and therefore we might be more conscious of not being, destroying our environment and being better guardians. Yeah, exactly. Because. Because when we have more self love, we are more consciously aware too. I think they come hand in hand because it's about self reflection. Not in a kind of way where you just, you know, constantly hitting yourself over the head with a big stick going, oh, you're not good enough. But it's more like, well, this is where you are and that's okay. And actually, you know, you're doing so well. And yeah, the more awake we become through having self love ripples through everything that we do. So the next thing I wanted to kind of run past you is how do animals communicate with us? So my idea of it is I have two dogs and I take communicating with them pretty much for granted. In a way, I kind of get what they want, they make themselves understood. But there are kind of moments when we do go to a deeper level. And it's almost as if they think pictures of me and on some kind of subliminal level. I've kind of read the picture, but I don't know if that's just something that me and my boys get into or whether that's kind of universal or. What would you say about that? I'd say that most animal lovers are already communicating with their animals to a degree because communication can be so many different things. But there's also a way of taking it forward and deeper so, you know, we can understand. Our dog might want to go out for a walk. If they're standing at the front door and going, you know, want to go Out. But you can also communicate with them using, like you said, you can exchange pictures with them that you see with your mind's eye, emotions that you feel within yourself, physical sensations, thoughts, which is. My particular skill is receiving the thoughts from other animals, which I put down to spending 15 years as a stage manager, where I spent 15 years listening. So I spent 15 years learning the art of listening. So thought forms for me and the unspoken word. So that's my strongest pathway. So do they speak in words? Do they think in words? Or is it you that translates the thought into words? Yeah, it's electromagnetic energy. So we're exchanging. It's basically like transmissions of energy. So emotions, thoughts, physical sensations, etc are electromagnetic energy. And you don't even have to think, oh, I'm sending energy. You can have a thought like, you can ask your cat, what would you like to eat for breakfast? And that thought is energy can reach your cat. You can also accompany it with an image of a bowl of tuna or a bowl of fresh chicken breast or a bowl of kibble and say, you know, what do you fancy? And your cat can answer in lots of different ways. Literally, you can get the thought form tuna, or you might get drawn to a particular image as they're going, that's the one I want. Or you could even taste it. They could, you know, you could actually receive this energy and taste the actual thing that they want, you know, like the crunchy kibble. So it's based on quantum physics. But the fantastic thing about it is that you don't have to be a quantum physicist to be able to do this. You really just have to be quiet in yourself, focused on your heart and open and neutral. And then you can learn to do it because it's all from the heart and you've got the ability anyway. And really, it's about stripping away the ego and the preconceptions in order to be able to just harness the skill of having this incredible connection with another species. You know, where. I mean, I communicate with humpback whales and dolphins and have amazing communications. I like this idea of the. The thought carrying energy and it's the quality and the quantity of that energy that it facilitates the communication. It kind of. It kind of explains how we can be in tune with an animal at any given point. So how does that work with a dolphin or a whale? I mean, do they talk to you about what it's like to live in the watery depths? Well, the method is the same whether you're communicating with your dog or you're communicating With a dolphin. The incredible thing about communicating with the dolphin is that they are so highly telepathic that you as the human have to do very little because they just reach you. So, for example, I was in Egypt, I was in the water and one of my potters participants was next to me when I saw a dorsal fin. And I put my mask down and then I heard in my mind, follow us. So I lifted up, I said to her, they said, follow us. We both put our mask down and we went swimming gently after them. And we were. They took us to what I can only describe as a cathedral in the ocean. It was the most incredible experience. And they took us to their pod and then another pod entered. So we were amongst about 300, 400 dolphins in this cathedral space. And what I heard, which I've never heard before, was like angels singing. That was like the sound. It was just amazing. I could. I could only imagine I've heard it slowed down tapes of crickets singing, which. Which blew my mind because it really did sound like a choir. And we're going to talk about more that again when we come back from the break. Welcome to women's radio station, the voice of women worldwide. This is Women's radio Station. And if you would like to receive this copy, please send your name and email address to presenters at Women's Radio station. And one name will be picked out of the hat and a book will be sent on the way. And they also need to answer a question. And the question is, name the species you're guaranteed to encounter at Cetacean communication retreat in Hawaii next year. So, Pete, tell us about your retreats, because I've seen pictures of the and I've heard about them and it sounds really fabulous. So what happens in a retreat? So it depends what the retreat is. So, for example, I've got one in 2020, which I know sounds like a long time away, but you have to. You have to just organize them so far in advance sometimes, and that's with grizzly bears and killer whales. How do you source them? How do you pick what to do? Oh, I'm going to talk to grizzly bears. I'm going to take a whole posse of people with. Yeah, no, it's not that. Literally, the bears come to me. I wait for the species to go. We want you to bring people to us. So for that one, the bears kept coming and coming and coming and coming. There'd be. Literally, I'd be communicating with them, but also I'D see physical signs, like, I'd see like a pub sign, bear, and then bear this and bear that. When I'm out and about on the street or somebody with a, you know, rucksack with a great big bear on the back, it's like, okay, I get the message. Bears, right? The next one's bears. And the bears have been wanting me to take people to them for a while. And also, in fact, that's how the humpback whales first happened, because I was standing in my kitchen where a humpback whale was saying, you know, communicating with us from a distance is not good enough. You've got to come and see us. It's completely different. And bring people. So that's kind of how it works. They literally, they reach out to me and I. I get the feeling like there's a certain kind of pros. Process from one species to another. Not saying that one's better than the other, but it's just, there's like an unfolding. So, yeah, I'm taking people to Canada with grizzly bears and orcas in 2020, and then. But before that, I've got. I'm taking people to Hawaii, where on. On the retreat, you know, what they'll get to experience is four boat trips of about four hours each to swim with wild dolphins. And it will be spinners, which are. They're incredibly fun and very interactive species of dolphin, and also get to watch the humpback whales. So that's four days. And then on another day, we also go on a sunset cruise and then we do a night snorkel with the manta rays. Manta rays are like the surprise species that people just have no idea how incredible they are. And once you've been in the water with a manta ray, your life changes and never, ever can never be the same again. Honestly, they are just the most galactic, I would call them species. And once you get to know them better, you go beyond their presence because they can be very huge. And on a night snorkel, they will literally feed on plankton, literally like a centimeter away from your nose, and then swim round and then come back up again and swim around. So they're like, they're a real wow experience. But I also feel like they are a communicator between worlds as well. So you can connect with any of these species on whichever, wherever you're at, you know, but if you're someone that's more experienced and more maybe spiritually, aware, universally aware, you might connect with them on a different level than Someone who's coming from home, having loved their domestic animals, but fancy swimming with wild dolphins. Do you know what I mean? So do you find that individuals are drawn to certain animals? You know, is there a grizzly bear type of a person? For example, people that prefer land than water will prefer the bears. But no, no, I don't think there's a particular kind of bear person. But we are on the ground with the grizzly bears. And the way I. I think the way that I find the companies that I want to take people to is I spent. I literally spend hours and hours, I can't tell you how is surfing the web going with whatever my heart says, look at this, look at that. I explore that company inside out, get a feel for them, and something will normally go, I'm not that one. And then I hone it down and then I'll contact that company and I'll say, I want to bring people for an animal. I'll be very up for an animal communication retreat and I wait to see what the response is, because if they're not going to be open to what we're doing and why we're there, then that's not a good fit for my people. As a retreat facilitator myself, I can truly empathise with the effort that goes into putting a really good retreat together. It doesn't happen by itself, that I can assure you. No, no. So what do people get from animal communication? I know that probably sounds very obvious to you, but is it like an enlightenment, or is it a sense of love or is it a sense of being, knowing that they're alive in the world, or is it all of those things? Animal communication generally, I would say they get. They can improve their connection with the animals that they love. They can get to be able to ask some practical things. It's very practical, it's very effective. You know, if your animal is unwell and the vet can't find out what's wrong with them, you can ask them, you know, what are you feeling? Where does it hurt? What do you need? How can I help you? You can support your animals as they're dying. You can ask them what they need, what they don't want. You can ask them about their transition. In fact, my second book is all about animal transition, called the Animal Communicator's Guide Through Life, Loss and Love, which was Morgan's book because he asked me to start writing about my experience as he was dying, but also about his experience. And then after he transitioned, he came to me and Said, do you know what, you're going to write a book about this now? Because other people need support at this time because there's a lot of misunderstanding about animal death. And also they need to be empowered so that they're in a stronger place to help their animals. So in 30 minutes, he told me what to put in the book after he transitioned. So you can help your animals transition. You can use animal communication to resolve behavioral problems. You know, why is your cat peeing on your pillow? Or why are they peeing outside the litter tray? It could be illness, it could be a physical pain, but it could be something else. They literally could be pissed off with you because of something that you're doing wrong in their eyes, you know, or it could be that there's an intruder cat coming into your home. So they can tell you these things or they can picture them, or you can get the sense of what it is. So you can resolve behavioral problems, emotional problems. You can understand physical concerns much better, which also can help your vet, if your vet's open to it. And also you can use animal communication to track missing animals. My first book, which is called Heart to Heart, came about because of a Jack Russell called Marmite who had been missing for seven days and seven nights. And within an hour of his guardian contacting me and asking me to communicate with him, she found him exactly where he said he was, which was a mile away from home, stuck down a disused canal shaft, about a 12 foot deep disused canal shaft. Poor Marmite. I know, poor Marmite, but. And it took the fire brigade to get him out because it was such a difficult ending. It was a happy ending then. Yes, it's a happy ending. Yeah, he, they got him out and he was. Oh, and he's, he was interesting, actually. And this is why his story also made the radio and the TV and then the publishing deal for my post book, because he was a Jack Russell that never barked. So she'd already searched this particular area, but she couldn't find him because he wouldn't. He doesn't bark. But I said to him, we went through lots of verification kind of things which all proved correct. But then I said to him, if you want to be found, you have to bark. And I want you to bark and don't stop barking until you can see your guardian in the eyes. And so when she went out, because she said, oh, he won't bark. And I said, don't worry, I'll talk to him. And he just went, okay. Like animals do, like what have you asked me to do that. Okay, I'll do it. She called him. He started barking. It took them a while to get him out of the canal shaft. This dog didn't start barking until Nicky scooped him up in in her arms, held him on her chest, and he looked into her eyes. And that was the first time he fell silent. Oh, that's just such a lovely, lovely story. Oh, I can just imagine they must have been so happy to be reunited. Yeah. They were so relieved because they thought he. Because they lived next to a sand quarry and he used to like going rabbiting. They presumed he was down into the sand, but he was nowhere near it. He used to stuck down this canal shaft. And I should imagine that speaking to animals who've transitioned is pretty special too. Yeah, I love it, actually. I know that might sound a bit morbid to some people, but. No, I mean, I have children. I encourage them to have pets when they were small because I think that it teaches kids the life and death and the value of life and even what happens after that. Yeah, exactly. So you've got these three books which. What are they again? Please remind us of their titles. The first one is called Heart to Heart. Yes. The second one is called the Animal Communicator's Guide Through Life, Loss and Love. And the third is Animal Communication Made Easy, and that just came out in September, actually. So that's my recent book and that's a how to guide. So that teaches people how to communicate with animals for themselves. And you've got to. Are you running a retreat next year? So I'm running the Hawaii retreat next year, which is cetaceans, dolphins, humpback whales and manta rays. And it's in March and there's a few places left. And that's also on my website, so if anybody's interested in that, check it out. And what's your website? My website is animorthoughts.com so www.animalthoughts.com P. It's been lovely to have you come in and speak with us. Thanks so much for coming. Thank you. Thanks so much and bye.
