Your Mind Matters – Francesca Cassini & Ian Gosling

Your Mind Matters·36:00·3 Mar 2021·

Episode Summary

In this thought-provoking episode, host Dr. Maria Kampinska welcomes numerologist Ian Gosling and Francesca Cassini, founder of the Silver Tent community for women over 50, to explore how we can maintain mental clarity and self-belief during uncertain times. Drawing inspiration from Rudyard Kipling’s timeless poem, the three discuss the universal challenge of keeping our heads when chaos surrounds us and self-doubt threatens to take hold.

Francesca shares her remarkable journey as a serial entrepreneur, from running a domestic employment agency to spiritual ventures and eventually creating a thriving community for women over 50. She reveals her coping strategy: honoring her feelings rather than suppressing them, finding a trusted sounding board, and reconnecting to her true north—her core passion and purpose. Ian brings a different perspective, grounded in numerology and the power of self-belief. With his life number 11 representing balance and powerful energy, he describes how he stays grounded through his grandchildren, music, walking in nature, and maintaining awareness of life’s constancy.

Together, they emphasize that the path through self-doubt isn’t about denying difficult emotions but acknowledging them, finding support, and ultimately taking action. Both guests demonstrate that resilience comes from understanding ourselves deeply and trusting in our ability to move forward, no matter how lost we feel in the moment.

If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you. If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, but make allowance for their doubting too. Rudyard Kipling wrote this poem circa 1895. That's over 100 years ago and it has true resonance today. How do you keep focused in today's chaos of global change? Is there a way to keep yourself from falling into the spiral of self doubt and not finding your way out? My name is Dr. Maria Kampinska and I'm a deep psychotherapist. I've been helping my clients find a new direction and a new compass. And a new compass to guide them through their unsettling times. I know my guests today do exactly the same. And this is your mind matters. I would like to welcome Ian Gosling, a numerologist, and Francesca Cassini, who's created the Silver Tent for women over 50s. And they are here to discuss. Can you keep your head when all around are losing theirs? Firstly, welcome Francesca. Can you give everyone a brief history of Francesca time? Thank you so much, Maria, and thank you for inviting me to participate today. I think I'm really a bit of a serial entrepreneur and have also been quite nomadic for a number of years. But I guess the. The work that I've been most involved with over a period of time would be. I set up my own domestic employment agency many decades ago, which I ran for about, I know, something like 10 years. And then. And then I started to move into more spiritual interests and. And I became really good at failing at quite a lot of things. I tried to set up a float tank center right at the very beginning of floating. That didn't succeed. I didn't get planning permission for that. I ran a group of tarot readers and psychics for corporate entertainment and did really well in that until the Twin Towers came down in New York and. And nobody really wanted to know their future after that, or certainly not through me. It got quite scary, I think, for a lot of people. And I tried lots of different things. I set up a magazine around Conscious Living. I went and worked for a small group of people who were setting up a community online with the theme of conscious living. That was really fascinating. And then I was nomadic for a while. I didn't really have a great deal of income coming in. I sort of ricocheted around, around the country really. I ended up in France for a short while, a few months, helping out at a chateau estate that was. They were trying to build an eco community there that was Beautiful place to be. And then I landed on my feet for a while as a content writer for a spiritual tour company which was set in Peru. And I got a fantastic opportunity to do a five week bucket list tour in Peru, going to places like Machu Picchu and ending up in the Amazon jungle for a week of an ayahuasca retreat. And I think that was the turning point for me to really begin following my heart, no matter what. Ended up in a yurt for four months in the wildest wettest winter in Wales. And not long after that started the Silvertent community for women over 50. It's fascinating, your journey. No, we'll explore that more, Francesca in a moment. Ian, can you just give us a brief history of your time? I can. And thank you for inviting me as well to this little gathering. Well, I left school. I left school and I joined the army straight away. I went in the army. I was in the army for 11 years where I was a physical training instructor. While I was in the army, I got married. I come out of the army when I was 20, 27. I started working for a steel company. I didn't like it, but I had to do it because I had two children to look after. But then at 32, me and my ex wife separated and I started my own business doing landscaping, which was quite, I mean that come around quite interesting because what I did, I decided to have a day off, A week off, sorry, from the steel stuff, just, just to chill out. And in that week I started a business doing landscaping. I then later I started another business. When I was about 34. No, not 34, 30, 38. I started an entertainment business, DJing for DJs. I had six or seven DJs working for me then I was in between all this. I've been in, I've done care work and looked after young children who've had emotional difficult difficulties in their early, early lifetime. And then I stumbled across a book which was all about numerology, which I'd never heard, I'd never ever heard of, but I found it very fascinating. So I started picking on people and telling them this and telling them that and telling them this. But it also made me realize that I'd always been very intuitive. Even in the army days when, you know, my mates would say, are you going down here? I go, no, we're not going down there. And something would happen down there. So yeah, it was all about. My whole life has always been about helping other people, whether helping you sort your garden out, protecting people in the army or, you know, helping people enjoy their occasions, whether it was an anniversary, wedding party until I started studying, studying numbers. Now, people, you know, people who know me call me a numerologist. I've never been taught, so I'm self taught. I just link into numbers. You give me your name and I'll tell you something about you. And nine times out of 10 it will be spot on. And here we are now in 20, 2021, twiddling our fingers. I'm wondering how and what to do and just go forward, how to go forward in our lives. And there's so much to explore from both of you. But first of all, can I ask before we go into your thoughts for others and the explorations you can give to our listeners from this, how do you both cope for yourselves? How do you keep your head? FRANCESCA well, my first response is I'm not sure that I do. But you know, I've given this a little bit of thought. I think that I have to honor where I'm at at any given moment. And if I start finding that I'm and start finding and recognizing that I'm going down that spiral, then I usually have to just consciously let that happen. You know, maybe talk it out with someone who's not going to take it on board, but like a sounding board or a witness or I might just talk to myself. It's like even though I'm feeling really down and you know that life is getting on top of me and that I've got no route through this, I will find a way. And it's, I have to get to that point of, of honoring and owning the feelings that are running rampant. You know, whether that's grief or anger or overwhelm, whatever it is. And I get overwhelmed very easily. But once I own that and recognize that I'm lost in that, that's when I can start to, to refocus. So it's like, okay, so I can turn things around even if I have absolutely no idea how that's going to happen and the number of times I've been in of what's going to happen next. Yes, I have to then refocus on what is it that I would love. Not what magic might occur, but really what would I love, where am I headed? And it's like I have to get back to that true north. And then it's like, oh, okay, all this chaos is going on around me. But actually what I'd really love like right now is to bring this community of women over 50 to the to Be as visible as possible, to serve as many women around the world as possible, to be true to themselves. So it's reconnecting to that, to that passion, that forward move, having owned that chaotic overwhelm that I'm standing in. Does that make sense? Makes sense. One thing you said, just to get a little bit more information on it, you said, I do look for people to share my. My thoughts with, my doubts, my self doubt with that. Don't take it on board themselves. What do you mean by that? Well, I've got a really good friend I've known for a long time who I can. I can get in touch with her and I can say, this is how I'm feeling about life. This is how I'm feeling. I might mention people and she won't take that on, thinking that's how I feel always. She knows it's just a process. It's just where I'm at in that moment. So if I said, I cannot stand this person, they're really annoying me, you won't then assume that I will always dislike that person and that they're worth thinking about, you know, she will just let it. It's almost like it just washes over her and she might reflect it back to me so she doesn't help me dig a deeper hole. I guess that's what I mean. She holds that space till I get to the bottom of my own, and then I can start coming up again. That's such a good thought. It's so valuable to have somebody that you can do that with. Essentially, that's what a therapist does. We'll come to that. But that's really valuable. Thank you, Ian. How do you keep your head and what is your number, by the way? How do you keep your head and what is your number? Numerology. Can we get into numerology after you've told us about how you keep your head? Move into that. Because I've seen you work a number of times and identify people quite clearly just from their name, but on the first meeting, within the first few minutes. So it's amazing. But first of all, how do you keep your head for yourself? My. I would say. So Francesca's got a really good friend who she can talk to. I've got three beautiful grandchildren who just fill me with energy. They don't know they're doing it, but when I feel. When I feel, oh, God, I can't be doing this anymore, I just get in my car, I go around my daughters, and I will. I will play with my grandchildren. Now they, they. I mean, the best energy on this planet is energy from children. Now if my children aren't available, my next protocol will be my music, which really just, just really. It just realigns me and it changes. It takes me out of where I am and puts me in where. Puts me in a place where I'd rather be. I go for. I do a lot of walking and you know, when I'm walking, people walk and usually when you see people walking down the road, usually they've got their heads down and they just walk. They're going wherever, they're going to the shops or wherever. But when I go walking, I, I keep my head up and just. I look at the scenery around me and I remember that the last time I went for a walk, that tree was there and it was, it's still doing what it was doing the last time I saw that tree. It's just, it just real. It's about realigning, you know, I need to be. I need to be balanced. And that's all about my number. My, my number is 11. So 11 is, it's very, it's very powerful. I'm not saying I'm powerful. Well, I am powerful. I know I am, but I'm not saying that. But eleven is all about balance. But it comes with a lot of, a lot, a lot of energy now. So when we're on our high, we can be flying and we don't need wings. But when we're on our low, you know, we're low. But because it's really, it's really interesting because you can't keep. You can't keep me down for long, you know. I know over the time we've known each other, Marie, you found me a few times and I've been flat as a pancake and you've heard it over the phone, but the next day I'm up again and I'm expressing, I'm doing blah, blah, blah, doing whatever. It's, it's just about. So it's about self belief and that's my belief anyway. It's about self belief. If you, if you feel it, you can do it. What I have noticed a lot about a lot of people. There's a lot of people, including myself. We've all got reason, we've got this word reasons and excuses. And we're very, very good at making reasons and excuses. And when we're making these reasons and excuses, they're very, very tangible. So in our head. That's right. But once, once we run out of reasons and excuses. There's only one thing left, and that's doing. And that doing is moving forward. Well, it is doing for somebody like you, Ian. But the whole principle, the whole theme of this is so many people doubt. But what I love what you said as you were walking along. You see a tree, and it's the same tree that was there yesterday, and it is still that tree. It's still that oak tree. And if the oak tree, if it becomes summer, they then start blossoming, and if it's winter, they shed their leaves. And what I'm always intrigued by is this theme that everybody bandies around at the moment called the power of attraction. And they say, oh, if we attract something, if we think about it, we'll attract it. And I don't. I personally don't believe that in that way. I think it's oversimplifying something that's quite complicated. But it's also, who are you? Who are you as a human being? How do you find your own backbone to say, this is who I am? And I think it's so complicated for people to find, who are they? Who are you? If you were that tree, that you'll be here today and tomorrow doing exactly the same thing, responding. But a tree always responds in the same way. But people never respond in the same way. We are complicated. What do you think about the power of attraction, Francesca? How easy is it to attract fortune, fate, good things to you? I think that's a really good question. I mean, if I thought it was easy and believed it was easy, I think I'd have much more money in my bank account than I do. But I think for me, one of the thoughts that crops up when you were talking about that is that what we think we're thinking about is not necessarily what we're thinking about. There's a deeper layer, isn't there, of what's going on sort of underneath the hood, as people say. So I might be thinking, oh, I'd love to see money flowing in effortlessly, but if I've got an underlying even, like, it might not even be self talk, it might be deeper than that, that it's not. It's not remotely conscious. But if I've got something that says I'm not worthy, you know, or that kind of underlying assumption or belief or whatever you want to call it, it will counter my conscious focus. And so that's where I see that complexity happening. And, you know, and I've often found that I attract things through a thought when I'm. When it's actually really quite playful, you know, so there's. It's almost like it's got such an innocence about it. There's nothing to counter it because I'm not thinking right, if I focus on this now, it's going to happen. I'm going to focus on money. Okay? I'm really focusing on money. You know, I can pretty much guarantee it's going to have the opposite effect if I do that. But when I do it with a light touch. I remember years ago taking a friend of mine to London. I used to live in London, but she'd never been to London. And everything that she wanted to do we did effortlessly. And we were. We were waiting in a. In a queue for a black cab to come and take us to Covent Garden or something. And she said to me, oh, I'd love to see a red cab. And there weren't many red cabs in London at the time. And I just said, well, wouldn't it be wonderful if we just found a red cab to take us to Covent Garden? And within seconds, as we got to the front of the queue, along came a red cab, and in we climbed. And it was like, whoa, that was very cool. So I often find it's that. It's that, oh, I'd love this, and then it. And then let it go. And that. That often has much more impact than if I focus on it in. With intensity and seriousness. So there are two, Two things going on there that I've shared. I'm not sure that's. That's very helpful. No, I think they're perfect because in deep psychotherapy, and that's, you know, sort of when Jung and Freud both started as psychoanalysts and that's the work I do, it started because there was philosophy and then there was medicine. And yet they found that neither of those worked for people who were and had deep problems. And the talking cure came from that. And as they embarked on the talking cure, they discovered that we all have different areas of our brains. And I think we are exploring and experiencing more. More. But that, as you say, under the hood, beneath the iceberg, there are so many depths. But one that we can all tap into is the collective unconscious, as Jung says. And that is the psyche of the world. That is the anima mundi, the soul of the world. And yet we have our own personal unconscious, our own beliefs that people try. We try to tap into, but sometimes we just don't know where they come from. Are they ours? Do they belong to us? Or do they belong to one of Our ancestors that is bequeathed to us or our parents. But, Ian, how. What do you think about the power of intention? Does it work for you? Definitely, yeah, it does. Well, not all. How do you do it? I've lost you, Ian. I'm back on my ear. Can you hear me? I can now, yeah. If I think of somebody, for example, I've got a friend in France called Michelle, and I used to go to school with Michelle. So now and again, me and Michelle get on the farm, we'll have a chat. But now and again, I think I've spoke to Michelle for a while. Within 12 hours, and I mean within 12 hours, Michelle will send me a message saying, are you free? And other people. So it's just. I tell lots of people, I say to lots of people, you know, just believe, you know, if. Believe in attracting what you want and it's steady, it's easy, but just think of somebody that you haven't spoke to for a long time. Concentrate on that. That person, and within, within three weeks, you'll be talking to them, or at the very least, somebody will speak to you of that person. You know, it's. How do you make it translate into action? I'm not talking about somebody contacting you, but if we're talking about particularly, you know, we're talking about entrepreneurs or people trained, changing directions of their lives. I know you help them with numbers. Give us an example of how people come to you and you give them support and guidance through numerology. Well, people who, People who come to me are usually people who've already been to see me prior or people who know people who have been to see me prior. So I don't. I don't advertise or, or anything maybe I should do and I'll get more people coming to me. But all I'm saying, if you, if you think about somebody and they're on your radar, they will get in touch with you. It's as simple. It's as simple as that. All you've got to do is think about someone. Don't have to do anything. You could be washing the dishes, you could be doing, doing your housework, you could be doing that. You could be at work typing away. If you think about somebody, just that somebody pops into your brain. If that somebody pops into your brain, it's because that person is thinking about you. Are there certain people with certain numbers that are more. Find money easier to come by or are more entrepreneurial or are more nurturing in their professions? Less money, money? I don't. I don't bring money to me. As simple as easy as somebody who's born on the 4th or somebody who vibrates at 4. So somebody who vibrates at 4 would be someone called David, Steve, Karen, Michelle, they're all, that's what their priority is, money. So if I said what, what's, what's your date of birth, Francesca? Oh, it's the 4th of October, 1955. Wait, wait, wait a minute. 4th of October, 1955. This is exciting. Yes. Right. You're a thinker, you're. You are an analyst. But being born on the 4th, it was interesting I said that number. Isn't it number four? You can bring money into you without, without a shadow of a doubt. That's good to hear. Right, now. 4 and 1, 4 and 1, 4, 4. Right. 3, 2, 1, 1. Right. I'm going to pick on you now, Frances. Pick away. Right. Last year for you. And you may still be even in this, this, this time scale of getting rid of what you don't want. Having a massive clear out. Now, this clear out could have been going on for the last three years maybe. Well, including this year, it would be four. The four. This would be the fourth year now. So you're having a massive clear out. So three years ago was all about a relationship or situations within a family. Does that make sense? I'm not, I'm not sure. I think it's one of those things. I often find that it's not that, that it's not screamingly obvious to me. I have to go. I have to go a little bit deeper and remember what was happening. Three years, I'm not sure I think is the answer, Ian. Right, okay. So. So you're born 55, right? Right. When you was 38, there was a massive change in your life. And this is, you already spoke about this. This is when you become. You started looking into the spiritual side of work life. I have no idea what age, you know, how some people can remember exactly where they were and exactly what happened at a certain age. I'd have to work it out. It could, it could easily have been then. Right, okay. Right, I'm just gonna say. Have you been put down a lot, Francesca? Yes. Yeah. Right. And this, these people who've been putting you down, it's like, it's like, it's like they're actually, they've actually abused you by, in whatever way they abused you. But what they did, they knock the foundations away from Francesca. So Francesca stopped listening to herself and believing in herself as much as she can. I think that's very accurate. Right. Where you are now is about creating. Creating what you want. So it's about listening to your heart. If your heart's in it, money will flow. Okay, so, Ian, if we go back to what you initially said, I started really following my heart, really following my heart when I got back from Peru. And that would be. That would be four or five years ago. Right. Okay. And so that. Letting go, that clearing out, if that's related to this shift of being more confident of my. Of my own intuition and. And wisdom, then that would. That would align. That would make sense. Right. Okay. So five years ago. Right. So I've come. I'm going to go back four years ago. You stick with your five because that's. That's when it was. When I talk to you about relationships. Right. The most important relationship we have is the one we have with ourselves. Yes. Now, when we get into a relationship, that can put us off balance because they think something else and they think this and they, you know, and. And then their thinking makes you question. Question your own. Are you wanting me to respond? Every relationship is full, isn't it? Exactly. They come into a relationship with expectations, for sure. Yeah, exactly. It doesn't matter. You know, this can be a lovely relationship. There's not a problem with this relationship, but the problem is invisible and it's. We both want to keep each other happy, so we both try to do what the other person wants or thinks or believes. But it doesn't have to be a relationship with a loved one, a lover. Okay, thank you, sister. Your brother, your mum, your dad, it can be somebody else. Yeah, yeah, we're looking. We're trying to please. Please other people. Right, I'm gonna. Right. Francesca. How do you spell Francesca? F, R, A, N, C, E, S, C, A, C, E, S, C, A. Have you got middle name? I do. Danielle. D A, N, I, E. L A double L E at the end. T A, N I, I, E. Double L, E. And now just spell your surname. C A, S, S for sugar. I, N, I. Right, okay. 18, 23, 24, 25, 26. That's the 11. 16, 21, 24, 37 and 10. 16, 19, 24. Right, okay. Seven. Where have I gone? Seven, eight, nine, ten. Right. Just to give everybody an idea of what's going on there, Ian, before you talk to Francesca, what you were doing, every number, every letter has a number attributed to it. And what you were doing was counting up the numbers that were attributed to all the letters in your name. Francesca. So now that you've done that, Ian. One, two. Just a minute. One, two, three, four, five. Okay, right. You are extremely independent. You find it very hard to ask people for help. Whatever you've done and whatever you do in your life, you will self teach yourself to do it. Yes, but you have, you have definitely, you've definitely been put down and abused in one way or another way. I'm not going to go into that. Shall I respond? Yes, please. Yes. Thank you so much for that, Ian. I think that it has taken a long time for me to really recognize how powerful my imagination is and that a powerful imagination is a waste of time. No, it's not. And that's sort of what I got taught and it's how some people respond to me is they think, oh, she's just got a ridiculous amount of imagination. What's the point in that? And so it's taken me most of my life to come to terms with the fact that actually my imagination is amazing and valuable. I'm much better at asking for help now, but I understand what you're saying there. And since running the Silver Tent, then I think that's allowed more of that side of me to come out. Yes, Francesca? Ian, can I just interject and go into that a little bit more? Not specifically with you, Francesca, but just that theme? Because when you are a creative, creatives have a mind that is multifaceted. There used to be, I was always told, you know, oh, you've got, you're a jack of all trades, master of none. And I thought, no, I can be a master of all trades. I think the biggest problem is that everybody tries to pull people who are creative into that one sphere. Do it like this and do it well. Well, that's what they do in the corporate world. Fantastic. And they do that well. Or they take one product and they repeat it and repeat it. And you know, much like Picasso did with Guernica, he found that was the best painting he did, had done for a while, and he just repeated and repeated it to make money. Fantastic. That works. And it worked for him temporarily. But as a creative, his masterpieces were all individual. Now if you were to translate your thoughts, your creativity and anybody whose creative into something on canvas or an item, a product, then it becomes something tangible and people can see it. The trouble is with creatives and intuitives, people can't see what they're thinking. People can't see their creativity. It's. Now how do you take your creative thinking that is so multifaceted and put it into something that you can explore People a people can recognize it and that you can actually make some money out of it. So if you're a famous artist, as I say, artists can make money out of it. Francis Bacon became this famous artist like Banksy. But Banksy has a number of people working with him now. I believe I met Banksy years ago, well before he was famous and before he has a whole plethora of people working on that print on his principle called Banksy. But if you're still struggling as a creative, as an intuitive to make sense of your sense of the world, if you don't have people helping you, if you don't have people who can encourage you and help you find an outlet for it that suits you, that where you can work. And I do think your silver tent will be that product, if you like that focus, that something that can help you explore all your different facets that you've gone through, then you can find your own self belief. But before that, to be creative in our world was really put down, whether you were at school or whether through friends or whether through family. Because in a number of families, to make money was the key. And to do that, same as Ian, I'm sure Ian, if you were younger and you were to say to somebody, I'm a numerologist and I'm an intuitive and I'm going to make my money through this, people would poo poo you, well, how the hell are you going to do that? And I think nowadays there is a little bit more of an opening. But all those openings, whether it's music or art, they're always geared. Let's teach you, let's give you, you know, teach you how to produce music. So the freedom of exploring is now back with us. And people do need people like yourself and Francesca to help guide them. And I do believe both of you do that in different ways, that sort of guidance to people. This is where you're going, that's what you're doing. You have a right to be that tree, that unique person. And that's why the tree of life is such a wonderful symbol for everybody. Because the tree of life resonates with all of us. Because if we can find that, it's okay to be diverse, it's okay to have lots and lots of thoughts. Only use a few of them at this moment in time. But I say to all my clients, if you have lots of thoughts, put them away. If they don't work for you today, put the rest away. Always keep them, write them down, don't give them away. Don't give them away because again, people can take your thoughts and run with them. Tv, media, all that world is so used to taking other people's ideas. The magpie, what they call in mythological terms the trickster, he has a right. Or Hermes had a right to steal. No, there is a principle of the creative. Their ideas are profound and they have value in their own right. It's. How do we now find that value for ourselves and within that, find ourselves as that unique tree and. And move along in this world of uncertainty. So I know we've spoken about this before, Francesca, the backbone is now your understanding of the silver tree and that as a product for you, let's say product or a concept. Is that something that you can take all your abilities, all your creativity and focus it through that? Pretty much. The silver tent. I love the idea of the silver tree, but it's a silver tent. Yeah. Sorry. That's okay. Silver S, I, L, V, silver. Trent. No tent. Like in camping. Right. Okay, let's see what that. Camping, obviously. The silver tent. Yeah. So shall I. Shall I continue? Yeah, continue. It's difficult. Thank you. We don't get the normal, you know, sort of awareness of the physical. We're here just not being able to see each other. We're only doing it on voice. This is for everybody listening. Why? There's a little bit of uncertainty at times. We should be speaking. Francesca, yes. Silver, wonderful name. Where did you get that name from? Francesca? Ah, well, that came through. I put a question out loud and I got the answer as an extraordinary, knowing. But energetically, it came in from what felt like a really high. I'd go as far as saying, divine, divine space. That's how it felt. It went rushing through my. My head, right through my body, down to the ground. I was covered in goosebumps and I burst into tears. And I was like, oh, yes, it's the silver tent. And whenever I recount that story, I guess exactly the same energy and emotions that come with it. Francesca, you do know that gold is masculine and silver is feminine? Actually, I didn't. But the gold is also woven very much into this energetically. It's really interesting. Well, we do live in a time where the masculine principles, we're not talking about gender, physicality, we're not talking about the hormonal change that people are doing now. I want to, you know, I want to be a woman. I no longer want to be a man, which I think is symbolic for the change that's being activated here globally. I think something that I know you talked about in your book, Francesca, We Will Rock is about that when you need to make a change, you don't do sometimes if you're extreme, like Freud, Jung said, there's a principle of enantiodromia where you automatically, you've gone so far to one area that you will swing to the other. But what you were saying, if you want to make a change, you have to go up higher. As Einstein says, you can't go it from the place you were in the first place. You've got to elevate yourself, look above and then look towards the new area you want to go into, which is what you're doing, which is how you're changing your perspective as well. Yes. What we're doing in our world at the moment, the shift from the masculine principles, the philosophy of the masculine, the doing, the fighting, the fighting through which, frankly, is a mars energy, if you look at astrology, it's a very forward action, taking the fire of Prometheus and working our way through the world. We have to have that. So I'm glad to hear that you've got the masculine energy, the gold there, and also the feminine energy, which is Venus, the loving, the nurturing, the caring, which is much more beauty and flowing. Those two joining together is where we need to head for. And I think what we're making a big mistake in our world at the moment, sadly, is to identify it through gender and a physicality. A world where we are male or female, we have. We are born with those sort of that bodily instruments that identify us and they forget to look at what the principles are behind the way we think. Because as soon as you take more estrogen or more testosterone, your thinking process changes up to a point as well. But to combine the two in your silver tent, you have to have the both. Because without that masculine forward process, or they used to say it was, the frame around the picture is the masculine principle. Let's frame it. The picture explores the dynamic of the creative, the intuitive, and let's frame it. So Ian has frames his world of intuitive with numerology. Ian goes to see people as he's done with you, taken your name, given some numbers which he'll I'm sure, explore more. And he now talks through the numbers about who you are and how to move forward. And I think this is such a wonderful medium because it captures particularly, I think, although it captures me, it captures more males, men, they enjoy that process because it's also a structure to think through. And structure is very masculine. The hierarchy is Masculine, again, it's a principle. It's a philosophy. It's not a gender we're talking about. And I do think that people make all that as a mistake. But then you come back to thinking and feeling types. And if you're a thinking type, which I am, I love structure. So, again, that gives me. It is a harness, Ian, what you do, it harnesses me. It gives me a focus, it helps me understand. Ah. That's what I am. It's like astrology does that. But again, Francesca, your Silver Tent as an online community, which will be doing much more than just a community, you're adding much more value and you'll be writing and you're allowing other people to communicate. And on the same messaging, if you don't have the community in a formula, let's say, in a structure, then people can't come. It's fluid, it's loose, and it can be too loose. I'm really enjoying what you're saying, Maria, and I would just love the opportunity to take a step back to, you know, while all others lose their heads, can you keep your own. However you phrased it, that was just making me think of, you know, all the dynamics that are going on in our world today, that it's very easy for me and has been. I've had to work quite hard not to get lost in the to ing and froing of the virus and all the information that we're being bombarded with, whether you believe the mainstream news or whether you believe in what's called conspiracy theory, whatever. I could so easily get lost in that and go into deep grief and anger. And I had to keep pulling myself back out because I thought if I. If I polarize between these two, I'm just going to get stuck and I can't move forward. So I had to keep remembering, why am I here? What is it that I'm doing? What is it that I'm creating right now? And I'm creating the Silver Tent, this incredibly special. I want to say luminous, for some reason, luminous space for women over 50. And. And that takes me out of that polarization, back on track, and I can. And that keeps my mental health. If I go into that polarization, I'm done for. You know, I can't keep a steady place. I just will be pulled and pushed between this grief and anger going on. And so I have to rise up to that point of love, not for what's going on, but the love that calls me forward, which is the Silver Tent and its vision. So that's the structure that I use, and I hope that that's made. It is powerful, and it will be powerful because it's also a wonderful symbol. But if you think back to Greek times when they were talking about gods, the whole beginning was through the gods that came from chaos. Chaos is feminine. The logos was the word that came from the emptiness of chaos, which logos is the word which comes from the emptiness, which is masculine. And exactly that. It helps you focus, to be able to focus on something positive, to get rid of all the distraction, the needless distraction. I constantly am bombarded with people texting me about what's really going on. And I don't read them all, because I know. I just glimpse at them and think, I know where you're going with this. I know where you are. You're down in the detail of every single word that's being said, and I stay above that. But as you say, you're working on your silver tent, you're working on something that is being created at this time that is accessible to women globally. And, Ian, can we come back to your numerology of the silver 10? What is the number for that? It's quite interesting, actually, because the number for silver 10 is nine, and nine is the same number as Francesca's maturity number. So, Francesco, throughout your life, you've worried about other people. Yes. So what you're doing now, so if you look at number nine, it's somebody who's standing really strong, and that zero at the top is your third eye, which is. Was. Which is looking after everybody else. So now this new venture you're. You're doing is to look after the people who come into your tent. Yes. So going back to what you were just saying about what's going on in the world today, like, because you're. Because you're a seven. Your. Your life path is seven. Your life path is your date of birth. So you're very. You're very good in your own space. You don't need people around you. You're very good. You could. You're very good at isolating yourself from the rest of the world to get on with what you need to get on with. Does that make sense to you? Totally. Totally. Right. It's so powerful, what you're saying about numbers. And what's your own interest in numbers. What's your life path number? What, mine? Yeah. Eleven. And what about your personal name number? Do you have five? So you have a life path. Your personal number is what, your character number. Right, so your name. Your name number, which Is your full name, is your destiny. You're destined to do. And Francesca is destined to do exactly what she wants to do. Now she's in a pinnacle now of three. And she went. She moved into that pinnacle of three when she was 47, so. Or it was around about that age there was a massive change around about that age. 47, 46, 48, that sort of era. Now a pinnacle of three is all about the heart, it's all about creativity. Now, prior, prior to that, Francesca closed her heart off, but early. It was a lot earlier than that. Does that make sense to your friend? Yes, does. Right, so at 47, round about that age, your heart come into action. It's like. It's like the cause batteries gone dead and you, you've had a zoop and bang, your heart's open. And I'm off now and I'm going to create this, I'm going to create that. Now you're. You're actually ruled by number five, which is. Which is free spirit. Now I'm a free spirit. I've. I do what I want to do. I don't do anything untowards and to anybody else, but I've got to. People have got to leave me to do to my own devices. And people need to leave you to your own devices. Right. Because you beat. You beat your drum at a totally different pace to everybody else around you. I love hearing that, Ian. So true. So most people who know you very well don't understand you very well? No, no, they're on a totally different level to most people. Right. So when I say. When I say a lot of people like to be told what to do, they're quite happy doing as they're told. They're still, you know, they're 45 years old, they're 50 years old, they're 60 years old, but they're still doing as they were doing as children, as they were told to do by their mum and dad. So when we're children, as children, our leaders, our government, whatever you want to call them, are our mother and father. And then when we come into the big world at 16, 17, 18, we've got to learn about ourselves and who. So we then become the government. We govern our own bodies on our own life, or this is what we should do. Lots of people are still needing to be told what to do by whoever needs. Whether it's a boss or it doesn't matter who it is, they. They always want confirmation of am I doing the right thing. So because you're ruled by number Five. If you was, if you was working for a company throughout your life, you've been working for a company here, there and everywhere, and that supervisor was telling you what you want, what they want you to do and how they want you to do it. You're already getting thoughts in your head of how you're going to do it. And I can do it better than that. Is that right, Francesca? Yes, I think so. The way that I experience myself is that, is that I can take direction for a short amount of time and I like it, I like it for a short amount of time and then, and then I can't take it anymore. And so actually that would never happen, Ian, because I couldn't stay there. That's what happens. And that's, that's my life. That is my life, Francesca. So you're both the same in that respect. Sorry, you're both the same in that respect. So I cannot do what I don't love for long. No, I can't do it. I can do. So for example, I could go and do a job now for a month and I'll go, right, that's it, done the month. I've got to get out of here because this is just doing my heading ways of doing this, you know, and in care. Care is, you know, it's criminal. Working in care with children and watching how they are teaching these children how to fail. It is criminal. And I just can't do it. I can't do it. And I've left lots of jobs because I cannot facilitate in that because I'm a communicator. I don't care how old they are, I can communicate. So I have really, I've had, I've had really in depth conversations with the 13 year old boy. He was abused from the age of five. And then what the system wants is me to put that into pieces of paper and I'm going. But if I do my thought process, if I do that, this is a confidential conversation. I've got this, this young man to tell me this and tell me that, you know, through his own, his own means. And now they want me to basically disregard him and just say what they, what he's told me and I'm not going to get anything else out of him, you know, so I, because you are being opened up to somebody, you become the confessor. As religion is now losing its traction for various reasons and not all of them, and sadly a lot of them are very disheartening that people have used and abused religion from where it should be. Because good religions gave sanctuary to people. Good religions gave the opportunity to confess. So now we need people to be able to confess to. And that's what you're talking about. Confession wasn't just, oh, I've done this wrong. It was opening up and opening up the soul. So in my work it can take some time, but people do open up. And I'm sure in the work you do, Ian and Francesca, with your work, your both people will be opening up to you and divulging areas of themselves that are sacred. And I think the biggest problem we have in the world today is that element. How do you take that part of somebody, somebody and help them through a difficult time and help them find a focus for that? Because I think the biggest problem with any business, and we are coming to the end of this program, but the biggest problem with business is how do you keep the heart and the sacredness of what you're talking about, Ian, of people's lives or the focus or self doubt or, you know, that uniqueness that everybody has and create a future, a direction so people don't get lost and do keep still, keep the heart and the soul of their being going forward. And for you, Francesca, is finding that structure that gives you that freedom and you've got the opportunity to create that structure for yourself. So both of you, in just a couple of, in just one sentence, how would you finish off for advising people? Because we are coming to the end. Francesca, what would you say just in a sentence? I think for those who find that they're creative and have leapt from one thing to another to another and consider themselves a failure because of that, is to remember that actually they're going up a spiral and that they'll find at some point everything that they've learned and everything that they've done along the way is to serve a higher purpose. Purpose, perfect. And Ian, very similar to that, Very similar to that. But it's about, you know, when, when we're like what you've just said there, Francesco, when, when we're doing this and we're doing. Then we're not doing that and then we're doing this and then we're not doing that. It's like, it's like getting off the train station at Liverpool Street Station, getting to Buckingham palace, but not knowing which way to go, but you got to walk. So know, it's, it's, it's changing directions. Sometimes you come to a brick wall, you've got to change direction. And it's about believing that every, every step you take is the right step for you. Yeah. And I think. Thank you, both of you. You know, Francesca Cassini and Ian Gosling. What a fascinating discussion we've had. I've thoroughly enjoyed it. I hope you, as listeners, enjoy it. If you want to contact Francesca or Ian, you can contact them on SpeakYourMind Global, which is my site for psychotherapists, psychics, healers, and anybody who can help you through your soul's calling or your doubts through this world that is spiraling slightly out of control for some people.
