Welcome to Love Lessons at Women's Radio Station. I am so excited because today I'm here with the wonderful Sarah Payne. Sarah is the events coordinator and manager@speeddata.co.uk. now Sarah and I have known each other for just a short period of time, but we're such a double whammy. We get on like a house on fire, as the saying goes. And Sarah does a multitude of events over at Speed Data. So, so excited to have you here. Welcome, Sarah. Hello. Thank you for having me today. Sarah, thank you so much for coming in. What a pleasure. Now, Sarah, today we're gonna be talking all about dating in real life, getting offline and getting connected in person. So why don't you tell me a little bit about who you are and how you came to work at Speed Data. Okay, so I'm Sarah, I'm 29 years old and I'm also single. Single. So I started working at Speed Data about three months ago. Now I'm the events and marketing coordinator for them. So we are a the UK's number one leading singles events company and we were established in 2002. So I've started working for them because of a connection through university. After I graduated, I got this incredible opportunity to open up and I love doing events and I love doing marketing. So this opened up and it was just perfect. And I love love so. And matchmaking and everything about that. I'm a big fan of the Notebook movie and all things love. So when this opportunity came around, it was perfect. A little bit about Speed Data maybe? Yeah. Yeah, perfect. Okay, so we run 70 events a month all over the UK. So we have about four or five in London every week and then we have the rest all over the UK. We actually have 24 UK cities that we use and we have an 80% match rate and we have over 16 years of experience in the company. We offer a range of events. So we have singles parties, we have singles activities, and just normal speed dating. So we offer variety to suit every form of, you know, whatever people's likes and dislikes are. So, okay, so Speed Data is obviously a super duper well established company that really knows its stuff when it comes to connecting people offline. So how did it come about that all those different kinds of events were decided to be run? For example, like Manchester, you run certain events, London, you run certain events. And you're always innovating. As far as I'm aware, you're always looking for new gaps in the singles market. I mean, what's happening? How does it work? Yeah. So we've introduced new events, we try and do one a month. So at the moment, yesterday. No, sorry, on Friday we launched our first ever Friday nights after work singles drinks. So instead of it being like speed dating or a party, it was just a Friday night after work social because we needed to target a different age range. So we introduce new things every month that we can new events if something new is popular at the moment. So we do wine tasting, pizza making, pasta making and we just try and introduce. We started to do like more niche events. So if we have an event we do like tall men. So ladies that are attracted to tall men are able to come and they are able to match with the certain sort of. We've tried tattoos lovers before. I think at one point we tried doggy speed dating. So anything that is popular and current, then we try and get it into a form of event which is super exciting. The Friday social went really well. I just thought of a slogan. I love a tattoo. What about you? Cheesy? So who is it that? Is it you that sits and thinks about. Okay, we missing in the market and I mean women love a tall guy and so we're just going to do that. I mean how does it come about? Yes. So there's, there's two of us in marketing, so we're events and marketing. The marketing manager Steve, he will mainly, he will have the main ideas but we brainstorm between each other what we think might work. We trial events in, you know, different cities outside of London. We mainly keep it to just speed dating because that's what works. Whereas the niche events for London, we tend to keep them, you know, just for London based. So we'll sit around a table, we have a meeting with also the managers flatline and she'll come in and talk and we'll have brainstorm ideas of something new, what's current in the market, what people are looking for, you know, new ideas and just to keep it fresh, you know, keep it exciting and you know, that's what people want. Especially with the, you know, and the age ranges now we go from 21 all the way up to 60. That's amazing. So obviously people are becoming, you know, staying single for longer now and then, you know, ending up in divorce and wanting to get out there and you know, it's sort of a great way for all sorts of age ranges. Young, free single people, people that are divorced, people that, you know, all, all sorts. Every part has a lid and you're really catering for that. Oh my gosh. I will stop, I promise. Okay, so you were saying before that you were founding, what was it back in 2002. Have I made that up? Yes, 2002 were established. And so who founded it? How did it come about? It came about as a dating. It started off just as like Speed Data. I mean, I think we rebranded in about 2010, maybe even later than that. Actually we rebranded to SD events and that's what our branding logo will be now. But we're still known as Speed Data. I mean, and as far as I know, all of your events are a real hit. I mean, I've only ever heard good things and I'm not just saying that to plug you. I mean, I interview a multitude of people, but I have never heard anything bad about speed data.co.uk. and I think that you seem to have some sort of great success or you're creating a good atmosphere. So I want to, with that said, move on to asking you about what kind of culture are you creating at each event? I mean, how do, what kind of idea do people have in their mind when they're coming along about who you are as a brand? Yeah, so we're very much, you know, we want like minded, young, old, anything single people to come and feel happy, friendly, at ease. We want it to be a relaxed environment. We don't want people to come and you know, it is a scary world, I think, out there and we want it to do our best. You know, we train our host the best we can to make it such a warm environment and friendly. And we're very much about just meeting people. So it doesn't matter if you make a friendship from it, if you make a romantic friendship from it, you know, or you end up finding the love of your life. Some people get married from it. We've had babies, we've had great success stories. But you know, I think we're very much about creating a very safe, warm environment for people to socialize and be excited about dating and, you know, positivity and like setting a environment that people feel happy to come into that it's fun. You know, at our parties we, you know, have a live dj, it gets really crazy some nights and everyone's dancing and getting to know each other and everyone in the room is single. And I think that's the thing, when you go out to a bar, you don't know who's single, you don't know who to talk to. Whereas our event, you come and, you know, this is it, you know, we're single and you can meet people. So you were saying a little bit before about you train your host very well and you are creating this warm, safe, happy environment for people to come along. So when you're recruiting your hosts and you're doing your training, what is it that you're looking for? What are the good characteristics that make a host fit in to speeddata.co.uk that somebody, a single person coming along can expect to experience from the person that's presenting the event? Yeah. So we, we would always want from our host someone that's very cheery, very welcoming, very calming because some people get very nervous and we need the host to be like, you know what, don't worry, it's great. Everyone's been in this boat before. You know, we need someone to be extremely positive and happy and, you know, that sort of personality of like you walk in a room and you light it up, you know. Our hosts are all very, very polite and calm and relaxing and bubbly people and that's what we would look for. We would look for, you know, are, are encouraging people to interact and not shy themselves. Some of our host room relationships, some are single. I mean they're all great at their jobs. So as long as that is a mixed bag. Is a mixed bag. So it's very exciting that we have, you know, the, and I think that going to a singles event, I mean, I'm not single anymore. Woohoo. But I can only imagine as a single going along to a room full of, full of other singles that, you know, say, I know that you do same gender events, you do opposite, you know, genders attract events and whatever. I think either way, coming along to a singles event can be quite daunting and just knowing that you create that ambiance and that atmosphere and that culture, it's exciting. Welcome back to Love Lessons. We're here at Women's Radio Station. We're interviewing the wonderful Sarah Payne from speeddata.co.uk we're talking about dating in real life versus online dating. Welcome back Sarah. Hi. Such a pleasure to have you here. So we're going to talk about the juicy subject of online dating. So first and foremost, do you think that online dating still has its place and if you think it doesn't, which we'll get to, whether you do or don't, do you think that there's a gap in the market for something new? Yes, I think there is a gap in them. I think there is going to be something that's in between meeting in real life and the standard dating apps or online dating. I mean I use the apps myself and we have a platform to online date and that's how after our events people are able to match. So when they go home from their events they would match online and they're able to talk like that, but they have met in real life. Person. So we all sort of, we sort of bring both of them together but the online data comes after. But I'm very much a believer of some people aren't able to just go into an event or bar, talk to someone. So they still put up the barrier of the online dating being best for them. So I still think it's got a huge, huge platform for people to be able to, that's going to remain popular, it's going to remain successful because people are able to get their characters across better. Whereas I'm very much, I'll walk into a bar and say hello and speak to people and then you put me on an app or talking and I'm very awkward. So it's completely different, I think. So just to clarify, you think that people are able to, to get their character across better offline or online? I think depending on the person. I think it's very different if you're confident in person and confident online. I mean some people are very good in person and they're not very good at the texting and the messaging and then some people are great at online and then don't have great people to people skills. So I think it is still very much a market for both. You know, it's available for both that however you are as a person or however your personality is, whatever fits best. Yeah, for sure. And I do, I do think that, you know, online dating has its place and you know, it's the most popular thing for singles to get connected. But I still worry about the, the connection online. Is it a real connection or are people able to create this like pseudo personality and you know, they're able be funny and take their time if they're not that funny to prepare a joke or a witty response. And I think there is a lot of pressure because people are so used to online dating when it comes to singles events, they kind of panic because they have to be themselves in real time. Now when you're at your singles event, do you see people rocking up with this fear of rejection or this panic because they're having to be themselves like in real time? I mean, what are you seeing generally for those who are back out there in person? I find a lot when I'm, especially when I'm at parties, people will come and touch base with you as a host. So they're like, they want to check in, check that they're doing okay. They just need reassurance. So they'll come over and they'll say, oh, you know, well, I've met someone and. But you know, and that I think, I feel like people would just always need reassurance. And we offer icebreakers. So if someone is not very confident to walk up to someone in a bar, we offer them a little help. So we'll do like a lock and key or a poem that matches and they have to find the person that matches with them. And I find that works very well at singles events and singles parties for us because it gives people the ability to walk up to someone and have something to say and not have to think. So I think it is very much when you are behind a screen and behind online dating, you have a mask and you're able to create the person that you want to be. Whereas when you're in person with someone, you just have to be yourself and you just have to be. This is how I am. This is great. I mean, I'm a very big fan of meeting people in people. I'm like, in person. Sorry, I'm very old school. I just think it's the best way to meet someone. And you just feel that instant connection. Because you're right. Sometimes if you see something online, you're like, they're so funny, they're so great. And then you meet them in person and it's like, well, you've just spent an hour Googling what to say to me. And, you know, you can very much tell, I think when you meet people in person and I think, you know, it's you in 3D, you know, 4D, you've got the, you know, the extra dynamic of an actual conversation where you can gauge tones and you can see body language. With that said, do you think that online dating and its rise over the past 10 to 20 years, do you think it's given rise to social anxiety, fear of rejection, and also the lack of flirting? You know, has it given a rise to, you know, not being able to. The art of flirting, you know, what do you think? Yes, I very much agree with that. I think behind that, personally, I think that social media and this whole online thing is adding to anxiety and the stress of, you know, people very much rely on technology and as a way of a form of communication. And I feel like it could be having some form of effect of, you know, people walking up and flirting with each other in a bar. And it's like, because they're so used to doing it through technology. So I think that is very much in this generation of people growing up around technology, they've almost not lost the skills, but find it more difficult to just, you know, have that natural flirting interaction. And because you always would do it online now. So I think it's very much. You can feel it in the, in the atmosphere of being out in a bar now of just, you know, losing that almost like human connection of, you know, looking at someone across the room and making the eye and bumping into them or say, you know, going up to someone and making a joke or, you know, I think there's a lot of pressure now as well on chatter lines about how people are approached. I think it's very, you know, there's a lot of pressure, I think more so on men to approach women now because there's almost like this high standard of, like, having to impress someone and instead of just walking up to someone, be like, hey, do you want to drink? Or hey, like, what do you do? I think it's very much now all about, like, well, that wasn't very impressive. Like, I think that that's very much part of this days. But to do with, you know, like, you say you can come up with these funny jokes online and you can be yourself. So I think, yeah, and, and I think to add on to the back of that, singles are so connected at the push of a button or the, you know, swipe of their fingertips with other singles these days, more so than, you know, our grandparents or their grandparents. And so the. You have to stand out from the crowd because if you're not going to impress and they, you know, if anyone's ever read the book, blink. You know, we make a gut instinct and we create a judgment on somebody within the first six seconds. And so you never really do get a second chance to make that first impression. And so there's a lot riding on those first impressions. And I think with singles events, such as the ones that you put on, singles have the opportunity to fail faster and learn quicker. And online you just sit and fester. When is he. When is she going to message me back? What if they're thinking this and what if they're thinking that? And with singles events, that just doesn't happen. No. And I think it is a fantastic way to meet other singles. So we would come, like one of our singles parties. You turn up, you'd have like a lock and key to be able to introduce each other. You'd walk up and say, like, hi, can I try my lock and your key? And we do a little bit of speed dating. So it's not as much, but it just gives chance to people to mingle and have that interaction and, like, able to talk to each Other. It's an exciting vibe. You're in an environment that, you know, everyone's single, so it's relaxed. You know, you haven't got to worry yourself about talking to someone that's married or not available or not single or meeting someone that's not. It's just an environment where you can be yourself, talk, feel, you know, it's fun. It's really exciting. Classic dating. Yeah. And it's so fun to watch. And I bet you get to see successes in real time because they're meeting in real life. And you do host some events that you, you know that your company puts on as well, don't you, Sarah? Yes. Yes, I do. So I will do the myself and Steve, who's marketing manager. We the big parties and then we have the other host working with us. And it's so exciting to be able to see it happen in real life. Friday night, somebody left together and they said, we're just gonna go somewhere else and get a drink somewhere else. And we were like, yay. You know, and you become invested because you see people and you see straight away people will walk towards each other and you're like, they're going to pity off tonight. They're going to be chatting all night and that. And it happens. And it's so exciting to actually see it in real life, you know, actually happen. So I'm Sarah Louise Ryan. Station hi, I'm Sarah Louise Ryan and welcome back to Love Lessons. Ladies. Oh, and gents, if anyone's listening in, I'm here with the wonderful Sarah Payne from speeddata.co.uk, i'm so excited because we're talking about the one thing I'm really passionate about meeting in real life, taking dating offline and into the real world where you have to build real relationships after you've had an actual conversation and made a real connection. So, Sarah, hi, welcome back. Hi, thanks for having me. No, perfect, Perfect. So we've actually just been in the break talking very sneakily about some success stories and I know that you can go to Speed Data and have a quick look at all of their blogs where you can see testimonials of couples that have had babies and got married and all because they, you know, built up a little bit of confidence and took themselves off to a speed dating event or maybe they met at one of the larger parties, which we'll definitely get onto because they're super duper fun nationwide too. So Sarah, now I want to give you a few scenarios. So I've been in a relationship, let's say for 10 years, married, newly divorced, but I feel emotionally ready to get out there and meet someone new. I'm a bit unsure about which event to go to or how to go about it. So I don't want to do online dating because I wouldn't have a clue what to say to someone. But I know I am bubbly enough to meet people in real life. What would you recommend as a stepping stone for me? Where to go with one of the events that you do? So I would recommend always our for first timers, our parties, because we do a little bit of everything so you can turn up and we usually have around 150 to 200 singles turned up. Wowzers. Bum bowsers. That's loads. Yeah. So we have an each and we do two parties a month with different age ranges. So we do 24 to 40 and then 36 to 55. So we have different ages. So there'd always be the people there that are your age. And we have those all over London based. We do different venues each time to make sure that we're creating new environments and making exciting. And we do have people that come, you know, quite often and come back and we see, you know, sometimes the same people. So we would put on event and we would do lock and key to start off with. So that would be where you'd have like a lanyard around your neck with a. The men would have the lock and the ladies would have the key and they have to search around all of the room to find who matches their lock and key. So it's an icebreaker activity. So if someone's not confident enough to walk up to someone, this gives them the ability to be able to do so. And when people arrive, we will say, have you been before? You know, do you know, do you know how it works today to give them the confidence to be like, no, I need to be told everything that's going to happen. So we make sure that we brief our hosts to make the people understand exactly what's going to happen. Because if it's new to them then they need to, you know, they like to know what's coming next. So we create environment where there's a bar open, the DJ will be playing, everyone there is single and we would as hosts, go round, check everyone's okay, talk to people. If you can see people feeling a little bit unsure and just giving people that like, like boost of confidence, like, you know, especially like women to women, it's like, go out there girl, like we've got you and like support them and you know, praise them especially for the women if they've come out of a long term relationship. Sometimes you need that boost of confidence from another woman sometimes. We have a host I know in special, she loves to match make. So she goes around and she'll talk to certain people and she'll be like, you know what? I've just met someone that's like, just like that. And she'll go and get them and she'll just bring them together and make them talk. Amazing. That is incredible. So, okay, before you were mentioning the age ranges and I thought that was quite interesting because another scenario to you say I'm late 30s, early 40s. I could, I'm on the cusp of both of those parties, aren't I really? So what would you recommend? Would I go to both? Which age range would I select? I mean, what would you do? I mean it depends obviously. I mean if you would like an older man or if you'd like a younger man. I mean, and you could also trial both. So if you. My advice, to be with someone that's doing it new and they're unsure about the age range, just try both. Just be, you know, exciting. Both parties, you know, run very similarly. It's very sort of relaxed, in more of a relaxed environment at the older party, at the older age range, whereas it's a little bit more young sort of party. Party with the younger ones. So it sort of depends what. What you feel as a person. What kind of vibe you're looking for. Yeah, what vibe you're looking for. Are you looking for something that, you know, want to be young and you want to be, you know, in that environment, or you're just looking for sitting down and having, you know, a drink with someone and getting a trial? The speed dating. So we get to do the actual speed dating at the party, but it's just a little taster. So we do different time slots, different, you know, sorts of ways that people can meet people. We set up little activities. Some parties, we will have a photo booth. Some parties will have, like, tarot card readings. We sort of create. Bring something new to each party. Okay. So earlier on, you touched base on different kinds of things that you can do, experience events. So wine tasting or what do you say, cookery, all that kind of stuff. Yeah, I'm a big fan of those kind of events because I do think that if you don't meet somebody, you've at least had an experience. Now, do you think that those kind of events offer a buffer for the pressure to meet somebody? Yes, and I think it's very good. It's a very good way of making it a little bit more relaxed. And not necessarily about dating. It comes then more about meeting people, having an experience with people. So if you're going to do pasta making and, you know, you get there and you're like, oh, well, you know, what if you're a little bit nervous? I've just come to learn how to make pasta. And we have a host there. We have, like, special chefs come in and teach people. And you rotate around the room so you're not just with, like the same person the whole time. You rotate around. So you get to meet every single person there, male and female, and then you get to eat the dinner after together and, like, have a drink. And it's just very social. So even if you don't end up finding anything romantic, it's a nice way to get out there and Meet people and have an activity that's not just sitting in a room and speed dating. That sounds like my kind of event. You can eat, you can chat, I'm assuming you can drink. Who knows? That sounds fun. Okay, so in a nutshell, if you're nervous, you're newly single, you want to get out there, maybe you've been for a big breakup, but you're kind of ready to get back out there again. It sounds to me like Sarah's telling us, you know, big parties are good to boost confidence, to gain a little bit of momentum with conversation, things to ask and all of that stuff. And then thereafter you'd move on to speed dating events. Is that right? Yes, absolutely. I mean some people that just want like, like a little bit more quiet, like you know, intimate environments. Our speed daters, you know, speed dating events usually have, we have about 12 dates dates. So you'll sit down with the table, it's a lot more intimate. You know, the music's always nice, the lighting's perfect and we just might in the, and you get that one on one to one interaction. So sometimes if people you know, aren't, don't like to go out to parties and don't like to go out to bars, this is also the perfect way to have that intimate situation. So it also is a great follow up from the parties to people that you know, want the, to boost the confidence. But then it also offers from someone that would like just the quiet, you know, intimate, more relaxed environment straight off the, then they have the confidence to do that. You know what I think again, I mean, I know I'm an enthusiast for anything that makes love happen, but I honestly think that there's still a huge market for this because with online dating I have got friends who have gripes that they can't get one date in a month because they're chatting probably in their pajamas, drinking their cup of tea at night with 10 different guys or girls, whoever, whatever they're into and not actually taking it offline. So the fact that you can meet 12 people in one evening and have 12 in person dates, gosh, like to me that's exciting. Yeah, very exciting. And I think it boosts confidence because you'd want to go out and make an effort. And you know, I think sometimes the confidence that comes with a lot like you say you're sitting at home in your pajamas drinking a cup of tea, whereas if you're going out, you're like, right, if you're a girl, I'm going to put a dress on I'm going to do my hair, I'm going to do my makeup. And then you find that you're giving yourself that extra little bit of confidence to go out and meet people in bars and have that, you know, as a girl, everyone loves to get dressed up and you know, and it's like, and then you're gonna meet 12 people in one night. And also the thing is about speed data with the different events that you do, they lend themselves well to single women making friends with other women or guys making friends with, you know, bromances or whatever, like just people making friends. Because one thing is for sure, say with your graduate professional speed dating, you know, everyone in that room is educated of a similar age, a similar mindset. They're professional and you know, intellectually stimulating. You have got a whole bunch of like minded people. Even if you don't find romance, you're gonna find a bromance or you know, a friend. And that is one of the things that I will say about our company and about our events is that we have a lot, not a lot, but we do have very regularly bromances and girl like girlfriends made out of this amazing. Which is awesome. Sarah Louise Ryan here at Love Lessons at women's radio station interviewing Sarah Payne. And we'll be back. Welcome to women's radio station, the voice of women worldwide. Hi guys, Sarah Louise Ryan here and welcome back to the final segment of Love Lessons here at Women's radio station. I'm here rejoined by the wonderful Sarah Payne of speed data.co speeddata.co.uk. welcome back, Sarah. It's quite a mouthful, isn't it? Thank you. Sarah's got such a radio voice by the way. Can we just point that out? Isn't she a delight to listen to? So Sarah and I would like to talk to you about something brand new, spanking new to the singles market, something that isn't out there at all at the moment that bridges the gap between singles events, meeting in real life and online dating. So for those who kind of haven't got the confidence to be at a singles event, they want to chat online, they want to get connected, they want to see who they're perhaps going to meet prior to meeting them. So let's talk a little bit about, about Tangle. What do you know, Sarah? Keep us in the know. Okay, so Tangle is our sister company that we work very closely with and we've just launched an app. So Tangle is a social club for singles and experimental events based on all five senses. So the aim of the app is you pre match with someone, you're able to like someone and then it'll give you a list of events that Tangle is going to put up or so you can turn up to a very exciting event, but you almost know who you're going to meet before so you can match with someone and then when you arrive at the event, you're able to talk to them, spend time with them and then it becomes available afterwards to be able to talk on the app so you can Meet, you can have 15 different matches and then when you get there, you can meet these 15 different people in, in person and then they would be able to chat online and message afterwards and have that interaction. So if you've met someone that you've really liked at the event but felt a little bit quiet to talk to, you are able to match with them afterwards. That's super duper exciting because it lends itself really well to safety elements that the dating industry compose. Like, you know, you're seeing who you're meeting, am I right? You're meeting them in a safe environment with hosts yet to eat ice cream, which is an added bonus as far as I'm concerned. Yeah, so it's very, it's very sort of something new. The events are very unique and very niche and, and we do lots of different events to suit different needs and wants and the people that attend are able to, you know, see the sort of people that are going to be at the events beforehand. Because I think that's what causes the most anxiety sometimes is that you don't know who you're going to meet, you don't know who you're going to see there. Whereas if you've seen pictures of people before and you're like, okay, they, you know, that gives me the confidence that, you know, I might find someone that I like today. So it's very exciting that we're bringing both of the things together to be able to do a little bit of online dating and then, you know, actually meeting in real life person and creating this sort of excitement and you know, people looking forward to meeting people at events. Okay, so what slice of the singles market, let's say, does Tangle target? Like, I mean, who am I a Tangle customer? Like who is a Tangle customer? Let's say who could I meet meet at a singles event with Tangle. So Tangle is more very much about spiritual and meeting people and explore exploring the five different senses. So we do for instance like a citrus dinner. So everything around it is to do with, you know, the, the summer and citrus fruits and you know, using all of your five senses. So the smells, the touches, the tastes, tastes, the hearing, the, the vibe that we create and you know, it's very much about meeting people and if it isn't romantic in a way, you're also able to meet like minded people that you know, are spiritual. Like we recently had a launch event and we had someone come in and talk about lovemaking. Oh, I love. So that was really lovemaking. It was, it was very exciting, very spiritual. You Know, everyone was sat on the floor on big cushions. Where was this, Sarah? Where was it? In London. Yes, yes, sorry, it was in London. In London. And it was very exciting. One of our, one of our venues that we, we work closely with, it was actually just a very, you know, private launch event that we had that we had going on and it was super fun and very intimate and, you know, we had a photographer there. So it was, you know, got some great pictures and, you know, it was just very, very exciting that, you know, I wasn't there, Sarah. I wasn't there. I'd love to know about lovemaking and I wasn't there. Yes, it was very spiritual. Very spiritual. So mixed gender then. Yes, yes. And we also had, which was really exciting, which was new for us, was like different colored bands. So one was for love, one was for friendship, one was for joy, one was for, like spirit. So you could have, you know, wear however many you wanted and just show people what you can were looking for in that moment. That is just amazing. I'm definitely into all of that stuff. And I think, you know, here at women's radio station, we seem to have some. We have the most spectacular women listening in who are smart, they're savvy, they're in tune with spirituality. We've got a wonderful show all about spirituality. Like the kind of women that listen into this. And I love how you, you know, Speed Data as well, you know, the other company has this huge inclusive environment to the LGBTQ community because you do same sex events. And now with Tangle, you're targeting the spiritual singles market and I think that's wonderful. Yeah, we also. So as well as like Speed Data as well, we have a huge following and our events are incredibly successful for Gainless in events. Yeah, so they're very, very popular for us. We always sold out 20 people or so each event and everyone gets to meet everyone. So it's a little bit different. It's still speed dating, but every single person in the room gets to meet every single person. And we have a huge following for that of popularity in events. It's one of our most successful events. Oh, very cool. So I can't wait to tell you all guys at, I mean girls, that we're going to be having Tangle in to talk to us all about singles and spirituality and connecting in real life with their app and taking it offline at events. And so watch this space for when Tangle do come in in the next couple of weeks. And also, Sarah, I'd really like to firstly thank you for being in here today. But I'd like to, to just cap off this show by taking your top three tips for singles, for new singles that are out there today seriously looking for love. They're coming to any of those events with any of those, you know, platforms. I mean give me three tips. I'm newly single, let's say what do I need? I think very much for our events is come with open minded, come with open mindedness and you know, be, be open minded. I think that's very important and I think also a huge one for me is to come with positivity to come in and say, you know what, I'm going to meet some new people today. It's going to be a great event. So instead of being like well you know what, no one spoke to me yet or you know what, no one's done this, just like being very positive about it. I think that's very important to come open minded and, and positive because you know, our events are different and are something new if you haven't tried them before. I think it's very, very important to, you know, to come with this sort of in mind that you're going to meet love and you're going to find love and if you don't, you might meet friendship or you might meet someone, you know, that you just get on really well with and like a girl you come and you go out for girls drinks after boys come and they have a bromance, you know, or you come and you find the love of your life. Life. And it happens with us and it's super exciting for us to watch and yeah, and I think also my third one would be don't use technology when you're at an event. I think that is a huge thing for me to say is that if you're at a singles event or if you're in a bar or if you're in a situation to meet somebody, no one wants to talk to someone or approach someone that's on their phone. So you know, as soon as you leave the house, put your phone away in your bag and just, just you know, go out and live life in the real world. Have real conversations, real interactions and there can be nothing that's that important on your phone that you would need to get it out during a conversation with someone. I mean if you're at dinner, if you're at speed dating and I think that's number one rule is that to take away technology. Absolutely Incredible. Thank you to Sarah Payne from Speed Data who says that if you're getting Back out there again. Top three tips be open minded, be positive and avoid technology when at an event meeting someone in real life. Thank you so much for coming on the show, Sarah. Thank you very much for having me.
